Breakfast was disappointing - v limited food offering with plastic cutlery, paper bowls and cups.

Location, room v comfortable and good size; great outdoor communal area/bar and generally a lovely vibe. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Also loads of outdoor gear available to borrow free of charge.

Parking is first come first serve, which we were not told when checking in. We had to find external parking for one of our nights, despite being charged a parking fee since there were no available spots. Very disappointed to see that more parking spots than available are being sold. Be aware of this and of the fact that you will need to actively contact the front desk and let them know that you are not using the parking that you personally paid for. The breakfast was also quite poor.

I didn’t like the price of parking. We found a lot across the street (could see it from breakfast) that was $15 rather than $24 for the 24 hours/day. Some confusion when we booked through booking.com. Room stated it had a shower but not a toilet. It did of course, but had to verify through phone calls. Also didn’t like that the bar closed so early. The patio is such a perfect place to hang out. We wanted to stay, and not go out. Glad you can buy beverages at the little kiosk at the front desk. Also, the breakfast bananas were consistently brown. I suspect they were put in the fridge.

Fantastic location. Could walk everywhere, safely, and at night. Close to markets, festivals, shopping, tourist attractions (e.g. museums, the arts, nightlife, parks, waterfront, etc.). Also loved the patio, including the games, the nightly s’more event, and how neighbourly people became because of it. I also enjoyed the breakfast being included. Remarkably quiet considering that it is so centrally located in the old downtown.

The price for a parking, $40 is a bit price, compared to the parking garages in the very neighborhood that start at $14 a day (Portland University).

It did like its location, the size of the bedroom for a couple was ok, the bed comfy.

It's getting more common, but I like having to pay extra for parking. The included breakfast was okay. On Sunday, there were hard-boiled eggs but no breakfast meat. On Monday, there were no eggs or meat available
