I liked everything about this facility

The property had clear easy access and check in /check out. The facility was very clean and smelled so good. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The hotel was conveniently accessible to area restaurants and attractions.

The AC didn’t work as we expected. It seemed to not be controlled within the room, or it couldn’t achieve the desired temp until nearly morning.

We loved the location, the cleanliness, the amenities, the furnishings, and the ease of entering and leaving the property.

I wish they were more clear that it was 100% self service. It was good for me but I imagine if you had wanted help it might be frustrating.

Completely self service with easy entry and the room was magnificent for the price. The bathroom was clean and towels were restocked and room cleaned every day.

This place is absolutely beautiful and convenient to all the downtown shops and restaurants! It was exceptionally clean and inviting! The decor is gorgeous! Loved the little touches like the candy, nuts and water when we arrived. Has a small drink fridge and coffee maker. They do have an ice machine on the second floor which also has water. There is a supply closet on the third floor that has all the extras you may need like tower fans, towels, blankets, and so much more. I love that there are only 10 rooms so you don’t get all the noise like you do when staying at a bigger hotel. So quiet. Communication is done by text messaging which I loved. They responded to my questions almost immediately. You are provided a code for the main entrance as well as your room before arrival. Check in time was 4pm however we were notified that our room was ready at 1pm and we were able to check in then. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again. There are just so many great things about the Harvey to list. If you’re looking for a place to stay, look no further. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

Very classy. Our rooms feel and furnishings made it stand apart from the typical. Although there is no front desk, the proprietor was super responsive and check-in was stress-free. Easy walking distance to all the action downtown.

I would like more counter space around the sink in the bathroom. I travel with face care, hair care, and styling products and more surface space to put belongings would make this over the top!

It was easy to find, even at night Ease of arrival and access to room couldn’t have been smoother. I have never stayed in a hotel or boutique that was this clean and comfortable, and I have stayed at Ritz’s around the world.

plug in bathroom did not work- we were only staying 1 night so I did not have the chance to report it. Did have to blow dry my hair at the desk in room.

absolutely beautiful, 100% clean. speaking as a previous housekeeper, and a regular traveler, I have never once walked into a property and a room and been 100% satisfied with the cleanliness. There was not a single thing out of place. We will be back!

Excellent location to the convention center and downtown New Bern. This historic home has been revitalized with respect to its history. I enjoyed looking at the details. It was very quiet and peaceful. I felt like royalty staying here.

Everything! The room was amazing, and the shower was spectacular! The location was great! I needed a mental break, and The Harvey provided it. The updates to the rooms seemed well thought out. The location was beautiful. I wish I had more time to stay.
