United StatesNo hooks in bathroom for cosmetic bags or pjs. And no privacy on bath window. Windows from next door can see into shower through side of blinds. If I can see them they can see me. I had to stay at front of shower. Also most blinds didn’t work. You had to manually move slats. Complimentary lotion had broken seal and squirted everywhere. I would prefer more complimentary soda and no beer. I know some of this is small.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The George Manor. Everything was immaculate and the staff were all wonderful to deal with. It was such a nice added bonus to get up to a spectacular cooked breakfast with additional fruit and muffins every morning.Highly recommended!

Rosie and Michael welcomed us and made us feel comfortable from our first step on the property. From the breakfast to the ice maker in the room, everything was well thought out for the comfort of their guests. There was not one question that we asked that wasn't answered ~ mostly about the history of the house. Will definitely return when we visit Galveston again.

George Manor is a beautiful mansion with a very interesting story. The original wood is stunning, the furnishings are beautiful and the wraparound porch and gardens are lovely. There are two additional buildings on the property (one that we were in) that have a living room and kitchen which added to the comfort of our stay. They serve their guests a delicious “full breakfast” daily which was enjoyed very much. The best part of our stay at the Manor was the staff! They are all wonderful! Friendly, accommodating, and full of knowledge about the manor and the Galveston area. Graham and his lovely wife (the owners) were an absolute delight! Graham was also our chef on Sunday!

It’s a beautiful period property right in the centre of the historic district We were in the guesthouse which had massive rooms and was comfortable Michael looked after us well with great breakfasts and some excellent tips for exploring the surrounding area.
