Shower pressure ridiculously strong. Was able to adjust it down only with difficulty. Segovia room. Suggest a different type of shower head. A place with a first class coffee shop on premises ought to at least offer a free cup in the am.

    It was all good

The location was perfect if you like being in the middle of the "vibe", which was young and fun and family friendly. The room was large and we'll appointed ( on the basic side) but nice. Definitely a piece of history which we like. Fantastic coffee shop and martini bar downstairs. Very helpful, polite and attentive staff.

Strangely, the water pressur was too high! Usually, low pressure causes complaints. But the shower was too powerful. Not really a big deal, as I was able to simply control the flow to a lower rate with the faucet. But, since you asked...

This is a charming boutique hotel in a perfect location near the town center and near the riverfront in Wilmington. The hotel is in a converted antique building with a lot of interesting features. The room we stayed in was very good size, with a small kitchenette (we didn't use it, having only stayed one night). There is a nice espresso bar and lively evening bar in the hotel 'lobby'. We had a great stay, and I'd recommend The Front Street Inn to other travellers.

The bathroom was very small and there was no place for our toiletries or to hang wet towels.

Breakfast was delicious! Common areas were comfortable and felt like home. Staff couldn’t do enough to help and accommodated all our needs.

Really, nothing other than the lack of hangers. There was only one! However, it wasn’t a big enough deal for us to mention it to the staff because we just keep it rolled clothes in our suitcases but others might find this an issue.

A good night’s sleep was so much needed because we explored wonderful historic Wilmington each day. Accordingly, the great bed in the Hemingway room was wonderful. And even though it is directly adjacent to Front Street, it was very quiet through the nights. The room has a wet coffee bar and mini refrigerator, jacuzzi tub and a wonderfully large balcony. The location is superb. Just a block from the amazing Cape Fear river boardwalk and all the restaurants, bars, shops and beautiful, historic homes that are a joy to walk by. We very much appreciated the free parking provided by the inn that was right next to our room. The Concorde Espresso bar is definitely worth visiting with its fun, relaxing atmosphere!

Nothing really. A safe in the room would have been handy, but it felt safe and secure.

Very good location near the center of town and a few mins to the river walk. Very clean and comfortable . Communication was efficient and timely both text and email. In the same building as a coffee shop and cocktail bar, which are handy. Private car park adjacent. Very pleased with the stay

Room on second floor - knee problems made egress slow. However, the parking assistant (Daemon I think) was extremely gracious and helpful - he carried our heavy suitcase.

Had breakfast at Veranda’s - excellent food, excellent service, beautiful facilities.

2nd night noisy people above us from 11 pm to 5 am. Stomping, running, banging, and yelling kept us awake. No way to get a hold of staff at that time. Too bad clueless, inconsiderate, drunk individuals ruin such a beautiful place....

    Great ambiance and great staff.

Front Street Inn is in the perfect location right by the water in downtown Wilmington, and the staff goes above and beyond for guests. The room exceeds expectations. It is evident that every need is anticipated, and there is great attention to detail.

Lordly, where do I start? The Bistro room was an amalgamation of different decades of decor. From the living room's non-operarting jetted tub to the bathroom's white tile with large grout lines non-operating sink (don't worry, there is another sink in the living room) to the broken massive towel rack in the bathroom (don't worry there is another one hanging way above the non-operating tub in the living room) to the now dis-used wall mounted TV support right next to the newer flat-screen TV (not wall mounted) to the wobbly bistro table table (hence the name of the room) to the ceiling border wallpaper to the overall minty green paint, it's like you time-traveled to every bad decorating trends over the past 50 years. Please, for the love of God, gut this room and start over.

Great location. Nice coffee shop right on the first floor. Comfortable bed. Big room.

It is a lovely hotel but not quite exceptional due to a couple of simple oversights. The cheap showerhead making the shower spray sharp and uncomfortable and the lack of any cups/glasses/plates (or anything else) despite a kitchen - no coffee or tea either

Lovely building full of character. Great location with parking.

We booked a room at the Front Street Inn for 1 night when coming to Wilmington to visit a friend. It's a nice boutique Inn in a very convenient location. We stayed in the Amsterdam room which was very nice and comfortable. The location is close to everything you may need within easy walking distance. The Concorde Coffee Shop is located in the hotel which makes morning drinks easy to obtain without leaving the Inn. You get a discount on coffee if you are a guest at the Inn. Overall, a great experience. This will be out go to place to stay next time we visit Wilmington.
