It was not worth the price for a basic hotel room. Most hotels aren't.

The rooms were well very insulated; despite being next to the elevator, we couldn't hear it at all. We couldn't hear any noise from the hallways.

I have stayed at this facility yearly for US Open since 2007. Great location, nice facility, reasonable price, consistent good quality. The doormen are great. Always a pleasure to see Romeo and hear his “welcome home”.

We picked the hotel for its location, around the corner from our granddaughter’s dormitory. However, the Mid-town East location gives easy access to all of the sights mid-town , 5th Ave, Central Park, even Times Square are within walking distance, and 2nd and 3rd Avenues have so many choices of great restaurants.

The shower was just ok; stronger water pressure and a detachable handheld showerhead would have been nice. A built-in USB hub or two would also have been helpful.

Its in Manhattan and you can imagine the noise 24h. You should be prepared for this. For my family, it was ok, we got used to. There is no proper lobby in the hotel, rest is fine.

There was nothing to dislike. Only one thing I would like to mention, when we arrived the safe was locked, and we're unable to use it. I didn't bother contacting Reception/housekeeping in relation to safe.

This hotel is located very centrally. The property is easy to find, as located not far from 5th Avenue. We've had a room with 2 Queen size beds, the beds were very comfortable. The room size is also great. I wasn't expecting a big bathroom. Housekeeping services were great, we had our room cleaned every day and in high standard. Reception staff was very helpful. Hotel offered a daily complimentary snack/drink worth $10. We also had a breakfast included. It was a bit more than continental b-fast as scrambled eggs and pancakes were available too. The b-fast bar staff was very nice and helpful.

It was to find anything wrong with this hotel.

The rooms are very large for a New York hotel room. Out room had a kitchen which was great for families could make food breakfast for fussy eaters.

For the most pat the hotel staff was nice. The initial impression though (after flying 10 hours to NYC) was not as nice. That being said, subsequent staff made up for my initial reservations.

Location was centrally located and access to sites was easy with nearby metro stations.

Property needs a renovation (specially bathrooms). Bathrooms were pretty small. Breakfast very simple.

Shower flow a bit weak.

Easy to get everywhere by subway and walk. We were a couple with 3 older children and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable. Cleaning included washing dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to help.
