This place is incredible. We didn't want to leave. Photos don't do this view justice. The room was perfectly cozy and the decor and lighting made it all the more special. All the little amenities you need and more.

The location is lovely. The apartment looks out on its own private patio, and if you go outside and walk up a short path, you are on a high bluff with an expansive view of the Straits of Juan de Fuca. There are comfy chairs there, if you want to take in the view and enjoy your coffee or wine. That's the point of this place! This is a unique property in the Port Angeles area, except perhaps for the owner's other offerings on adjacent lots, including the larger Eagle's Nest, which is a treehouse. The apartment itself has the feel of a unique loft space, with real attention to detail. The furniture and decoration is unusual and thoughtful: a bathroom sink made of a single live edge slab of hardwood; well designed lighting; nice curtains and carpets on the polished cement floor, which is heated; interesting coffee table books; and much more.

The only complaint we have was that the cabin is under the home of the owners and both mornings , we were woken up very early in the morning by the sound of running and jumping children upstairs. We had hoped to sleep in and get some more rest on the trip than we did , because as we have a 3 year old grandchild at home and she also makes us very early running through the house 😝!

The Roost is a charming and cozy micro luxury cabin. The hosts have thought of everything you could ever need and have provided them for you with thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. Comfortable bed and cozy places to curl up and read. A beautiful spot to sit on the property edge and enjoy the beautiful views. The shared hot tub on the deck was sooo fantastic in the snow! Can not wait to come back for another visit !

Could there be a more perfect lodgning than this? Came here to celebrate our anniversary, and I could not dream up a better place for the occasion. The interior, the exterior, the craftsmanship, the exquisite attention to detail in the decor, and the setting in the yard overlooking the sea and the cliffs all make for a magical experience.

Honestly it was all great.. I just wish a room with the view of the bluffs was open when I booked as that is the only thing that could have made it better.

It is a very unique property with amazing workmanship going into the woodworking that is in the rooms. We stayed in the Roost which was on the first floor with no view of the bluffs but had our own patio with a wood burning fire pit ( all wood supplied) and a propane grill and direct access to the backyard with the beautiful view of the bluffs.

We had a wonderful couple of nights in this quirky place in the most fabulous location. The owners welcomed us on arrival and made sure we were happy with everything. Their guidance on where to eat and what to do was invaluable. The rooms were finished to a very hight standard. We wish them every success. They deserve it.

This property is a custom designed by a master craftsmen. The detail of decorating was truly amazing. Bring a bottle of wine and appetizers and get to the property an hour before sunset. Property is on the water. The rest of the evening will take care of itself.

Property listed a sea view, which was the selling point of the property for us. We splurged on this for the night and were put in a small back room with a view of a staircase next to other garages. We spent 2 hours trying to get assistance and were hung up on multiple times. The only “solution” offered was to go stay in another city in the opposite direction we were traveling, which did not work for us at all. The property promised other things upon arrival, all which were not there. The whole thing was very misleading and falsely advertised. We did end up getting $150 credit after hours on the phone and multiple messages. But for $650 we would have never chose to stay here without all the special amenities offered and no sea view.

The property was stunning. The room was very comfortable, stylish and beautifully furnished. Every detail was considered. Our favorite thing to due was sit in two chairs overlooking the bluff to watch the sunset over the Salish Sea. This is a very special place.
