Explained we could have early check in and was continuously waiting for our room to be ready for over 1.5 hours when they checked on it at least 5 times

There was no hand soap, shower drain was stopped up, and AC was not working. I was able to remove the grate on the shower to remove the hair in the drain. Fortunately, the outside temperature was cool enough that we could be comfortable.

The games room closed at 9pm - understood they didn’t want it to be noisy but would have been nice to play a game when we came back after dinner

Newly renovated, nice decor and was good to have a separate living room with a sofa bed so we could stretch out. Games room and fire pits for guest use

High tension electrical wires that were over hotel. This neighborhood area of Salem was unsightly so not a picturesque walk to town. The price of the room was less than others in town but the neighborhood and construction going on is probably the reason.

The place was clean and spacious had all the comforts of a redone hotel. 20 minute walk to mid of Salem. Staff were willing to help.

    Everything was perfect!

We mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary and what they did in the room was absolutely magical! Our stay at The Cove was truly incredible – the staff is extremely kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make us feel special. We will never forget this experience. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the overall hospitality were just perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Had to ask for air conditioning, but staff was quite accommodating, parking didn't have the best access but during renovations so understandable.

Stay during renovations, acces was acceptable, great service, clean room and plenty of space, great price for the quality, beautiful bathroom .

Very minor thing, that the fire pits weren’t working. The staff was already done for the night and that area closed shortly after so it wasn’t worth trying to find a solution.

The property was lovely! I enjoyed the theme, though we didn’t stay in a theme room, and the vibe in general was great. The person who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The room was so nice. Comfortable bed, great shower. Really wonderful. I wished we were staying longer.

The in room coffee option is bagged Folgers and a kettle. I think for all the extravagance in the room, a coffee maker would be nice.

Great walkable location, cool themed room and helpful staff. There is construction on the property as of 7/21 but early risers wouldn’t be impacted.

The location was not walking distance from salem.

The room decor was very stylish. There was lots of space in the room and I really like the code key pad. Coffee and tea selections weren't great, but there was a fancy tea pot/hot water pot in the room.

The price was far too high for the amenities and space. We really enjoyed the themed rooms but the beds were small and little pieces were a bit flimsy- my daughter noticed a wobbly rail on the pirate bed and some floor boards were taped down.

The lounge was really neat and we liked how they’re repurposing an older motel into a more hip, inventive space.

We could hear so much noise from the room above us. There seemed to be no sound barrier.

We loved the modern decor with a touch of Salem fun. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The space was perfect for our family of 4.

Some of the items in the bathroom needed to be repaired. No place to hang towels because the hooks weren’t firm and the toilet paper holder wasn’t attached well enough to hold a roll.

The patio area. The room was beautiful!
