I stayed in June & it was a bit hot for the 30-40 minute to walk into Downtown. So the location in high Summer was not close enough to town. About a 20 minute walk to the Palm Springs Visitor Centre. If you had a car, this would not be an issue.

Loved the Mid Century vibe & decor. The pool was great, access to chilled water. Restaurant, Freddie on site.

No bottled water on site. No person to person contact on site. No way to bring filtered water back to room. Restaurant and desk closed and no staff on site for special needs and a continental breakfast would be nice but walked to 7/11 to get a snack. Everything was on line to check in with no personal touch. Seemed very AI.

The room itself was fantastic! Comfort and cleanliness was impeccable. Waterfall shower is a treat!

Nothing- it’s in a good spot, it’s in good condition, the staff are friendly, the pool is pleasant and the house cocktail is recommended.

The surprise about the Cole is the outstanding restaurant- most small hotels and motels have an OK restaurant, but Freddie’s Kitchen at The Cole is truly exceptional. We had probably the best meal of our holiday, which included the Sonesta on Kaua’i and the Venetian in Vegas.

It was difficult to check in without anyone. We had difficulties with that. Also, the fact that there is never anyone from the staff at the hotel, we rarely come across anyone from the staff. There is also no breakfast, for the price of the room there should have at least a breakfast.

Good location, room’s size is very good, the shower is excellent, comfy bed.

There wasn't much not to like. A couple of things were tired. The safety lock on the door was ineffective, the hook on the back of the bathroom door was missing, and the lounge chairs had slight tearing. None would stop us from returning!

First off, Cassie is amazing! She was an incredible hostesses who greeted us warmly and communicated very well. Located on the main road into Palm Springs, the location was great for getting into and out of town. That said, there was a little road noise but Cassie provided ear plugs and a sound machine, neither one was needed. The bed was very comfortable and the decor as we had hoped. We have passed The Cole sign dozens of times. We were so happy a stay there finally happened. Nice coffee supplies, bathroom amenities, and pool lounge equipment. What a delightful stay.

It was a bit difficult to find the staff (check in and check out), because the bar where you should go was mostly closed. But otherwise great!

The room was big and comfortable and the swimming pool was amazing during the hot weather!

The only thing I really wasn’t happy about was the air conditioner. It was super loud making it difficult to sleep but everything else was 10 stars out of 5!

It’s such a beautiful property and the rooms are exquisite. Laura was absolutely amazing helping me get checked in and Aubrie was super friendly and very professional. I appreciate both of them very much!

Beautiful room with chic decor and very clean throughout, beds very comfortable, and gorgeous pool area. Welcomed by very friendly receptionist Laura who went out of her way to make sure our check in was perfect. Also housekeeper Aubrei was very polite and friendly, and ensured our room was ready earlier.

Hard to block the light out. Lights in corridor and also a window with no curtain in every room.

The hotel doesn't have a 24h-reception but this isn't made clear at booking. If you arrive after a certain time, you have to upload a copy of your ID. If this hotel had a 24h reception, I wouldn't hesitate to add another star.

This is a stylish hotel disguised as a motel. The room decor is modern, elegant and beats most hotel chains. Pool and jacuzzi are a welcome retreat after a hot day.

Lovely rooms and pool area was very cute. Great price as well and the staff were incredibly helpful and despite all assistance being virtual they were incredibly attentive and swift when we needed to move rooms.
