We had a wonderful stay at the Coachman Hotel! The rooms were cozy, stylish, and modern — and the beds were very comfortable. Although breakfast isn't included, the food available for purchase was absolutely delicious and worth it. There’s a pool on site, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. What really stood out was the evening atmosphere — sitting around the campfire was such a lovely experience, especially with the free s'mores kits available at the front desk. A big hit with the kids! One of the most exciting parts? There's an almost guaranteed chance of spotting a wild bear on the property. Truly unforgettable and added to the adventure! Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a unique and relaxed stay close to nature.

Everything was good, we didn't have anything we did not like.

The Coachman is very homey and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the little touches like coffee and breakfast area in the morning and S'mores in the evening are great.

    Nothing it was perfect.

Free daily day passes handed out to the private beach (Lakeside Beach - which usually is $40!) the hotel offered free parking too! I loved the free smores kit every night. The main hotel reception area was modern and well decorated.

Super cozy, comfy bed, excellent location, friendly staff, clean and well stocked room, relatively quiet, free beach pass included in booking. We accidentally arrived almost an hour early, but the room was ready, and the staff were super accommodating.

Breakfast is a hit or miss. My wife's greek yogurt hit the spot but the classic morning plate was a disappointment and I did not feel well after consuming it. The breakfast could use an update and the take-away disposal packaging it comes in is not doing anything good for the experience.

We love saying at The Coachman. Comfortable rooms, nice interior that covers the basics without feeling cheap and location is convenient. The bar and common areas are also great and the pool lovely. This is how I want Tahoe to feel like when I visit.

We don’t like that the room we’ve got doesn’t have a cold water in the shower. And the AC doesn’t cool as much as it should.

We love it’s location. The staff are very accommodating. The vibe is modern and cozy.

The only “negative” I have is that our bathroom was pretty small - the door literally scraped the toilet each time you had to open or close it (honestly, I think it’s more that it was a large door…space-wise once the door was fully closed, it was fine.)

The fire pits and s’mores each night were such a fun experience. The staff were all great, the location was so convenient, and the included beach passes were a nice touch.

The outside of the buildings was a bit worn and needs a little attention - slider webs, warped board at the top of steps. It wasn’t bad, we had a wonderful time, but for what we paid, I would have expected a bit more attention to the exterior.

The common areas were welcoming and comfortable. The selection of food and beverage was small but nice. The fact it is dog friendly was awesome. The rooms were nicely done, the beds very comfortable. Our kids really enjoyed the s’mores. Having an EV charger available was also very convenient. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Overall, the concept and feel was awesome.
