My only complaint was we had issues with the Nespresso machine in the room- having a normal coffee maker would be easier.

Carlin is in a perfect location, easily walkable to points in town. They offer free parking so you can easily drive to places to hike or visit. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, and surprisingly quiet given it is above a restaurant and situated on Main street. We loved staying here!

Modern, fun, and effortless From the first moment, everything felt easy. No lines, no paperwork drama—just a digital code and off to a beautiful room that looked like something out of a magazine. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the whole vibe and views made us feel like we were staying in a luxury retreat. The onsite restaurant made dinner plans easy, and we ended both nights with drinks at The Tavern. The property manager was also responsive and genuinely kind.

Between 7:15-7:45 both mornings chairs were being moved on solid surface. So it was noisy.

Check in isn’t until 4PM & checkout is @ 10AM. We only stayed for one night, and requested an early check-in which was not approved. Less than 18 hours seems incredibly tight for a $175 cleaning fee. The other drawback is there is zero on-site staff for The Inn. When I requested the early check-in it was difficult to reach anyone, and when I finally did I was told guests had stayed the night before and the room wouldn’t be clean until 4PM, despite the 10AM checkout.

We’ve dined here previously and were excited to stay at The Inn. The location is perfect, the room was beautiful and very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

There are only a few rooms available which is part of the charm. If one is available, I would recommend booking.

The reception process was electronic but seamless and the inn is beautifully appointed. The attention to detail was bar none. Everything was just done well. The staff in the restaurant were warm and helpful. We dined at both the restaurant and tavern during our stay. Parking was easy and the location is hard to beat.

Location, location, location. This has been by far the best place we have ever stayed for a quick skiing adventure. Right in the middle of everything - bonus for us - great background music from the restaurant downstairs and urban noise from the foot traffic. Super yummy food from very friendly waitstaff and chefs. Very friendly chill hosts. Great advice on everything. Very cool app makes check in process super easy. I caused the place a small inconvenience - bad parking job with our monster rental car - the staff was super chill about. I apologize profusely :-). Highly recommend this place if one is going to stay in Breckenridge.

Around 6am each morning it sounded like chairs were being drug across the floor. I’m not sure if the noise was coming from the restaurant. At midnight we woke up to the smell of marijuana. Someone staying nearby must not have cared the units are supposed to be smoke free.

The management company never sent us our code to get into the room as they said they would. We had a bit of a delay (total of 25 minutes) trying to access the room. It took a bit to get in touch with someone and once we did the code they sent did not work. Luckily, we did not have somewhere to be right away, so it wasn't' too big a deal for us.

That there was no main check in and that no one who worked on the property seemed able to give us clear direction regarding check in or what was going on with the room. Also for as much as you are paying it would be great to have the room cleaned. Having to request it is annoying whenever it feels like it should be standard for the rate of the room. Room was clean and sleek, loved the 2 sinks and how easy it was to walk from the hotel to the lifts and to the main part of town. Hotels food is exceptional as well.

Thermostat did not control the temperature of the room. I don’t know if the room’s HVAC is conjoined with an adjacent unit that was blasting heat, but my wife and I had trouble sleeping due to the uncomfortable room temp. Had to crack the porch door all night (where it was like 7 degrees out!).

Very minor inconvenience with parking a few times. No fault of the Carlin though, I chalk it up to the prime location. The host was very responsive and solved the problem.
