I liked everything. I'd only say that I got a bit confused with the items in the room and if they were free or not. I could have asked though but did not bother me enough to ask.

They communicated with us by text message so it was easy to get the code. Accommodation was clean and we love the modern look. It was dark enough at night to stargaze so that was a plus!!

Most all was great... The Pool area could use a bit more shade..... maybe have a few umbrellas available oh, and a trash can in the pool area would be nice. maybe a few bike to go back and forth to the pool would be a good add.

We liked the peaceful location., The BBQ was in good working order, it was a nice clean place.... we would stay again...

The bungalow was perfect, a real home away from home ideally located near the Joshua Tree National Park; it was beautifully designed and furnished (with free water bottles and other commodities which we appreciated), charming, with a secluded and private view to the surrounding desert. The beds were so comfortable, that we slept peacefully and felt regenerated after a 6 hours drive. We woke up at 5.30 to see the sun rising and it was one of the more memorable moments of our trip. Sadly we stayed only one night but I definitely want to go back again to enjoy the surrounding area more and the bungalow.

Shower water output a bit skimpy, but not a problem.

Check-in with code was a breeze. The area was very rustic, quiet, so peaceful! The bungalows were very modern and comfortable. We loved this place! Celebrated our 53rd anniversary there. Hope to return when it is a bit cooler.

Quiet, secluded with true desert landscape. Also, clean and refreshing outdoor pool and huge jacuzzi. About one and one half miles to Joshua Tree National Park. Air conditioning is excellent.

I found a roach in the morning, but aside from that, the place was mostly clean. However, we did discover a long curly hair on the morning of check-out while we were completely undoing the bed. We realized it wasn't ours, as neither of us has long or curly hair.

The property was a peaceful oasis! Everything about it was stunning, and I truly enjoyed spending time by the pool. It was the perfect escape!

Everything was wonderful!

Very cute mid-mod property that looks just like the photos. Very clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the amenities and stocked kitchen since it is located a little outside of town, which is why we chose it. We wanted to be away from the lights to take in the night sky and the desert scenery. It isn't far enough out of town to get a true dark sky effect, but we could still see many stars and hints of the Milky Way from the firepit area. We appreciated being adjacent to the retreat center, as it is a very peaceful property with a labyrinth, and it's a short walk to their pool.

the swimmming pool looked like it was forgotten.... slighly creepy and felt like we were breaking into an abandoned pool area (since its pretty far away and near an abandoned building.

The rooms and location were AMAZING. We were SO thrilled to stay here for 1 night. kitchen well stocked and beatiful spot. We were there in the sumemr, so perhaps it was the timing but it felt a bitttt deserted. Would have loved if there was a gym, as there is not a ton to do nearby. Cafe was closed the day we were there . We saw maybe 4 peopel during our stay, and with no front desk kept saying that we were happy otheres were there..... a bit freaky being that alone in the desert

Top tier customer service! Extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable with beautiful views! The jacuzzi was so relaxing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Perfect space in the kitchen and easy accessibility to all gadgets in the kitchen. I took my girlfriend for her birthday weekend and we absolutely loved it, we will definitely recommend the bungalows to anyone and we will also be visiting again! Perfect stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Bungalows in Joshua Tree, and it was truly everything I could have hoped for and more! From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found something special. Location: Nestled in an ideal spot surrounded by hiking trails, the location is a nature lover’s dream. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventure in the desert, this place delivers. The stunning views of the Joshua Trees and mountains from every angle are nothing short of breathtaking. The Bungalow: My bungalow was absolutely adorable. It was cozy yet spacious, with a private patio area that included chaise lounges and tables—perfect for enjoying the incredible desert sunsets or just relaxing with a good book. The decor was charming, and it was clear the space was thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable—getting a good night’s sleep here is a must! Kitchenette & Amenities: I was pleasantly surprised by the well-equipped kitchenette, which included everything I needed—from utensils, pots, and pans to a full-sized refrigerator and a gas stove. The addition of a cute pantry with for-purchase items was a thoughtful touch, making it so easy to prepare meals without leaving the property. I also loved the ground coffee provided with a French Press. It was such a nice, "fancy" touch that made mornings extra special! Communal Areas: The property has several beautifully landscaped communal areas, complete with fire pits and lounge seating—ideal for gathering with friends or just unwinding under the stars. There’s also a heated and cool pool, which is perfect for cooling off or warming up after a day of hiking. The space is designed with relaxation in mind, and I loved how every area seemed to invite you to stay a little longer. On-Site Cafe: The on-site cafe was another bonus, offering delicious food and drinks right on the property.
