How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe property is pretty well kept.
Add check in I got at the front desk Alicia and I don’t think she was as friendly as I would’ve liked. I worked for Maria and Westin hotels and their five stars hotels and when I saw somebody approach me even if I was having a bad day or I had a migraine I was all smiles and welcoming just my attitude can tell them that I was welcoming them. She was very firm very aggressive. I’m gonna say that’s not the correct word to use, but when she told me that it’s $60 deposit per day that I will receive back at the end of my stay and I said is it for incidentals, she just looked at me And set up any damages or anything that you charge to the room I also wanted to pay the first night with a different card not at the end of the state she told me no I couldn’t do that. What about if I wanted to pay cash? I’m not allowed to pay cash. What about if the two people one wants to put something on one credit card and the other one wants to put a different thing the other amount on the other credit card am I not able to the fridge in the room was extra extra small way too small the lamps in the room two of them one was out and the maintenance guy came right away and fixed it. The other one was down and I did inform the front desk about that. I did while I was checking out. I didn’t have it because I didn’t wanna bother maintenance again and there was a third thing which is the toilet seats are very very low extremely low. My mom is 74 years old so she was having a hard time sitting and getting up from that very low Toilet seat and I noticed that the sink was extremely low as well so I mean I love because it’s kept as original flavor I’m gonna say but then again I wasn’t staying in a handicap room so it kinda defeats the purpose but the hotel itself is beautiful. The one microwave in the third floor for the whole hotel.

Verified reviewThe location worked out wonderfully for us, it's in a Central spot with easy public transport access for more or less anywhere you might want to go within the city. Additionally everyone from the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
The place is just not worth its money. I paid $530 (inc. tax) for three nights, and I'm still struggling to figure out exactly what I got for it. The breakfast is separate, the free WiFi was so slow that I couldn't even connect to my Google account because it kept timing out and the "fast" WiFi is a whole $20 for 24 hours. The toilet paper is single ply. I had to ask multiple times for an extra pillow before I finally got it, the TV in the room does not allow for connection to streaming services as it's pretty old as far as flatscreens go, so I had to use my laptop to entertain myself, which of course took a very long time with the free WiFi, which is of course not free because you cannot connect to it without having bought a room, so really it's already paid for for three nights, except I'm wanted to pay an additional sixty dollars if I want to use it. The shower was also bizarre to use, with the water pressure being connected to the temperature, meaning if you wanted more pressure you had to use hot water. Lastly it is not eco-friendly, it's the only hotel I've gone to where you're not required to insert a card to have power in the room, which meant we forgot to turn off the fan before leaving the hotel multiple times in our three days. If I felt I could have gotten anywhere with it, I absolutely would have asked for a partial refund, as I've unfortunately had better hotel stays for less than half of what I spent here. I'd say only book here if location is a priority for you and you don't care about any other amenities, because frankly there's none you won't have to pay more for.

Verified reviewLocation was great. The building in general was clean, the elevators are fast and we never had to wait long, they have plenty of elevators. The decoration in the room was nice, except the carpet.
The property is quite old, but it is understanding. The rooms are small and the bathrooms need some work, they are deteriorated and very small.

Verified reviewVery centrally-located, conveniently steps away from major tourist attractions. Hotel is also historic and beautiful, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Solid for a few night's stay in the city center.
Rooms were small and pretty minimalist. Elevators also took forever to get, and could've been faster. Need more staff checking in and checking out guests, as there was a wait to check out at the end of stay.
Thank you for you review.

Verified reviewWe were on the 19th floor, next to the elevator. I was worried that was going to bother us but it didn’t. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom didn’t have any storage for your personal toiletries.
