It's a bit deserted in the night time. There's no one at the front desk and it's dark. It is a very safe area i didn't feel at risk. I'm from a big city so security is always a priority. I am always on guard so it was just noticeable to me.

Front desk staff were super nice and friendly and knowledgeable about the area and beach. This 2 bed 2 bathroom condo was on the third floor (rm 304) has a kitchen so you can make breakfast which is one of the things i liked about the property. It has a full kitchen with all the utensils, glassware and everything you need to put a meal together except the food. I went shopping when i arrived at a nearby Publix supermarket. All major appliances dishwasher drip coffeemaker, toaster, micro refrig were updated and in working order. There are many restaurants and fast food options nearby. Not exactly walking distance but a short car ride away. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet and clean. The real amenity is the view and access to the beach. I rented chairs and umbrella at the beach in front of the hotel and i suggest you do the same. Real comfortable and just a zen day at the beach. See attached photo. Chad who manages/owns the chair rental was on target with info about the area and renting chairs for the day. He has apple pay!!! So no cash needed. He's super friendly. Enjoy! There's also a large swimming pool at the property which looked fantastic and refreshing but i didn't use it. Others were enjoying though.

The property is aging and undergoing some much-needed renovation. Fortunately for us, the construction was at the other end of the building and the noise didn't bother us while we were in the unit. Also, was surprised that the property charged us a separate $65 (plus taxes) cleaning fee, as the Booking.com listed clearly stated that the cleaning fee was INCLUDED in the total price for the stay. Currently working with Booking.com customer service to get a refund for the $65 fee, but have not yet resolved the issue. Bottom line, if the listing for this property states that the $65 cleaning fee is included, don't believe it, as the Turtle Reef front desk stated that the cleaning fee is ALWAYS charged by the property at the time of check-in.

The unit was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The ocean views were great.

Mainly the pool wasn't warm enough. A hot tub would be very nice. The living room furniture was outdated but functional. An older building needing some updating but it was a good value.

We were on the bottom level, I wish we had a better view of the ocean, but this is my fault for not verifying the level of our condo. Due to being bottom level, the sand fleas or N......I dont remember what the name of those creatures are made sitting on the balcony a nightmare.

Wallpaper peeling and blowdryers are damaged due to being plugged too long. Can be hazard if no one are paying attention. My partner and I are Deaf and if there are fires, we would not hear the fire alarm.

There are plenty of amenities and kitchen are full equipped!

Upon entering the building, it seemed a little dingy. Staff was pleasant but not in “vacation mode”, like we were. Kind of a downer. Entering the elevator was even worse. Filthy!! Our condo (208) definitely needs the ceilings painted and a new fan in the living room. Again, dirty! I’m sorry I didn’t take photos.
