The owner was friendly, the room was huge. There was a kitchen and coffee was provided. The entrance was cute and pleasant to return to. It was close to downtown, and the bus stop was only a block away. The pub across the street was convenient and had good food.

We found things left by the previous guests (i.e. toothpaste under the bed in the living room and Cut Off nails on the Couch) Towels were very small to shower. We only had 2 "bigger" towels for 4 people.

The Location is fantastic. Good parking, Walking distance to restaurants and Sea Life Center. The beds were very comfortable.

Convenient location near restaurants and shops. Pete was so nice and helpful in recommending local places. We stayed in the family room and it was large enough for the 5 of us. Full kitchen and grocery store around the corner. Very clean. Will definitely stay here again!

Ensuite bathroom in one bedroom was a bit difficult with two couples not related. A separate bathroom would have been more functional. Or at least one with 2 entrances.

The owner/manager was very kind and accommodating! The suite was very comfortable and spacious! Amazing location near shops and restaurants.

We had no issue with this but due to the steps, this may not be the place for you if you have mobility issues. Saying that, it's possible they have a more accessible room that we did not notice.

My sister and I stayed at The Tides Inn for one night prior to a cruise. Staying at The Tides Inn was like staying at a family cottage. There were 2 comfortable beds in separate rooms and a comfy couch from which we could watch Netflix on the tv. We arrived on the train in the morning and the staff was very accommodating, allowing us to place our luggage in the room before it was ready so we could explore the town. There is a free shuttle in Seward which we took from the train station. It stopped a short distance from The Tides Inn. We purchased muffins at a local store and had those for breakfast in our room. If you like the idea of staying at a cottage-type facility instead of a hotel room, this is the place for you.

The location is right in the center of the town. Many activities are in walkable distance. This property implements non-staff in the property, but accessible with phone calls-pretty good idea.

I can’t think of anything in particular maybe the parking situation if I HAD to say something but it was just fine:)

The property was close to lost of restaurants and gift shops and we could walk to the boat dock where our 5 hour cruise took off from which was nice!

If you are unable to walk much, I recommend taking advantage of the kitchen and buying groceries for breakfast the next day. There’s only a coffee house with no restaurants in the area opening before 11 am (unless you take the shuttle or walk 20 minutes).

Exactly as described. Comfortable for our short stay and in a quiet area. There were a couple restaurants for lunch/dinner right across the accommodation. There was also a nearby stop for the Seward free shuttle to move around town. Lovely views. The kind staff had the room ready before check-in time.
