There wasn't anything I would change.......Everything was perfect!

The location was magical!!!! Our hosts were incredibly friendly and thoughtful!!!!! The room was SPOTLESS and SPACIOUS!!!! Everything you can think of was available! They thought of every detail that would make our stay seamless and enjoyable. The decor was amazing.....a beautiful nautical theme! The bathroom shower was a DREAM.....I never wanted it to end!!! I wanted to move in and never leave!!!! The backyard was beyond extraordinary!!! The views were spectacular and the deck was truly an oasis! I cannot say enough good things about this property! I never usually write reviews, but I felt they really deserved this! They went above and beyond. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!!! The next time I visit Oregon.....I will 100% book this property.

Positives: • Superb accommodation comprising a spacious studio with excellent kitchen facilities. • Very large and comfortable bed. • Great bathroom with an excellent shower. • Very useful washer dryer in the studio. • Impeccable attention to detail by the owners in terms of how the studio is equipped. • Parking just outside the studio, within the boundary of the owners' property. • The owners were very welcoming, taking time to explain how things worked within the studio, but then respecting our privacy for the rest of our stay. • Use of the owners' garden with seating that offers simply stunning views of a rocky bay that their property sits above. It is truly a world class view. • Within walking distance of the main street in Brookings, with a choice of cafes and restaurants.

The property is beautifully situated with a gorgeous view. A patio overlooking the ocean is available to guests weather permitting. It was clean, comfortable, with extra touches to make guests feel welcomed.

Truly nothing negative to say about Tanbark.

Lovely self-contained, well-kept and appointed apartment, with everything you need to make this a great vacation base for exploring the N. California/S. Oregon coast, including a kitchen, washer/dryer, excellent wi-fi and off-street, secure parking. Debbi and Scott were gracious hosts, who took time to show us how everything worked, how to go through the gate to get to the ocean-view seating area, and provided advice (when asked) on places to eat...and then left us alone. We could not have wished for a better oceanside vacation stay! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location. Our beach plans were ruined by rain the rain we arrived but the owners allowed us to enjoy their beautiful view of the coastline from their outdoor patio and sun room. It was such a pleasant bonus. Very dog friendly 😍

Lovely, comfortable accommodation with everything we needed for our stay in Brookings. Our favourite part of the stay was watching the sunset over the coastline every evening.

I thought we would have a view of the ocean. You had to go to side of the owners house and walk into the back yard to get to the decks to see the ocean.

Decorated wonderfully, very clean, many amenities, owners very nice, grounds was great with many flowers.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you could need; it’s obvious that a lot of care and attention has gone into it. Thank you Debi and Scott for your friendly welcome and the treats you left for us! We will never forget the stunning views of the Oregon coastline from the Adirondack chairs in the garden.
