How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The women at the front desk she let me check in last week and then this week she told me I couldn't because the name is only under my husband's which my husband is at work and he cannot get off work until 3:00 so I should still be able to extend my room which I think is ridiculous that she wouldn't let me

Carpet in my room was filthy -- I didn't even want to take my shoes off; my feet stuck to the floor in places.
Staff at the front desk and in the breakfast area were friendly and helpful -- they were great.

That my card was charged before i even arrived on the property and i put that i would pay at the property. Ive never had that happen i dont think. And then was charged a deposit of $40 for my rooms. Budgeting is of importance to me on trips so i like to be set but was confused why they charged $103 my card was off so it was denied but worried me.i did not like that otherwise stay was good pics werent quite a match from the site. Carpets were kind of dirty but otherwise was a good stay

Here in the Denver area it can be hit or miss. Location.. location. This area is a good location. Easily accessible with many good restaurants and safe to walk about.

the 1st and 2nd floor smell awful at night of old food but the 3rd floor is great
the Queen Suite with 2 beds. once we paid $70 to upgrade from the standard 2 queen bed room. I was much happier. the room was very large with ample space.

There was a strong odor when you entered into the hallways and into the building. The room was pretty cramped and needed updating.
Not a whole lot to choose from it was your average wrapped items, but the coffee was good.

Very little offered for breakfast, required a 40 dollar deposit because of 3rd party booking. I still haven't seen a refund on my card. staff seemed unwelcoming

They could really use more lighting in the rooms, kind of dark and dingy
I've been here so many times now they basically know me by name and on Friday morning I didn't even have to go down to the office to extend my stay they just ran my card and let me sleep. No housekeeping walking me up at 9am like some other places

I didn't like the blood on the wall in my bathroom (232), and not being able to walk around without shoes cuz the carpet felt filthy. The duvet was covered in stains. We removed that from the bed immediately but the sheets didn't look much cleaner. We are night shift people so 11:00 check out is kind of hard for us. We asked for a late checkout hoping for an extra half hour to an hour to get our bearings, but were denied. Which is strange because online someone had commented that they were given a late checkout. Speaking of online, when we looked for a room online it was cheaper than what we are charged when we got there (25% more expensive than advertised online). Our non-smoking room was right above where everybody stood outside to smoke so we constantly smelled cigarette smoke. Honestly didn't feel safe leaving the car parked in the parking lot. Literally got up and down all night to look out the window to make sure no one was messing with it because there were people screaming outside all night long.
Dimitri was very friendly/pleasant when checking us in. And there were decent breakfast options.
