It’s an old building, not sound insulated and being close to the airport was a bit of an issue. But overall clean and decent place to spend 1 night

The place is quite run down and you can hear everyone who walks by your room. The area is pretty desolate around the airport. I was a little concerned about safety as a solo female when I arrived at night, but it was fine. I even went on a run in the morning and felt fine.

Convenient to airport and cheapest stay around. Staff was friendly. I used the free Hertz shuttle across the street to get to and from the airport (I was nervous the workers would notice I wasnt a customer but no one paid any attention). There is a big fence surrounding the Hertz lot and it was kind of hard to make my way out but I just asked an employee and they showed me (just walk through the car exit gates).

It was VERY noisy. Not only is it in the airport’s flight path, the water pipes, I guess from the upstairs room(s), were so loud that they woke me up.

It is very close to the airport. The staff was helpful: they were going to put us on the second floor but don’t have an elevator, so because we had very heavy luggage, immediately changed us to a ground floor room. The room was obviously made to be handicap-accessible, as it was roomy and the shower was large and open, with safety features and a seat. The air conditioning worked well, and the room had a mini fridge. The property has a security gate.

Good value for the price.

Skyways is a basic hotel. The man on duty was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and with a comfy bed. Food places were located within a 15 minute walk around the airport perimeter. Very good location, especially if you enjoy plane spotting.

I wish there were more bathroom amenities like shampoo, soap, etc but that didn’t bother me since I always bring my own anyways. But it would be nice if there were just incase someone forgets

This hotel is very close to LAX and made it very convenient to get to even by foot. The rooms were spacious and clean. I only stayed for 1 night because I had an overnight layover so by the time I got there it was very quiet.

Room door had a very basic lock, would have appreciated a secondary chain lock or similar.

Good for a short stay near LAX airport. Took the free Hertz rental car shuttle, about 15min wait and 10min journey without traffic, 20min with traffic, then approx 5min walk. Room itself was a decent size, had the basics and was acceptably clean. Rooms on 2nd floor are up a flight of stairs, did not see a lift. Some noise from heavy vehicles along road outside and planes taking off/landing at airport. Did not bother me, but to take note of if you are a light sleeper.

Booking.com says there is no parking there, so I didn't pick up my rental car before staying. However, there IS parking, so I think they need to fix that inaccuracy.

It was easy to get to from the airport, using the Hertz shuttle is the best hack. The room was basic but had a good tv, and everything was fine. Some nice tables to work from in the common area outside.

the extra lock on the door was hanging as the place for the screw had been wallowed out - there was no hair conditioner in the room nor a handtowel

It was close to the airport and was very clean. Uber eats was able to deliver quickly. There was a gate that could be closed to add extra security to the property which was also across the road from the car rental. The area seemed safe even with us arriving at 1am.

There were a lot of noisy people playing loud music and the room had holes and was not properly renovated.

We just needed a night’s stay close to the airport as we were catching another flight. The property’s location is right by the rental car facility so it was easy to find and we caught the rental car shuttle and walked.

Hardly any restaurants or stores nearby.

Location across from Hertz rental car was the big draw. I could take the Hertz shuttle bus for free, then stay at hotel and next day walk to Hertz to get my rental car.
