    The room was a smoking room

    I didn't receive a clea room at all for this stay and my $50.00 damage fee that you all said was included in my final charge in the amount of $268.00

    The price and location

    They put me in a smoking room , it stunk very very bad ! I have COPD and couldn't breath . I also showed my paperwork on my service dog and he complained about it being on my phone and he couldn't read it . I'm in the process of moving so I keep all my service papers on my phone. He wouldn't let me book another night till the next day , therefore I had to move more things than what was necessary NOT GOOD FOR A DISABLED PERSON TO HAVE TO KEEP LIFTING . I didn't stay another night due to the room being smoked in and the fact that I needed a disability room and couldn't breath

    The room was clean. Everything worked except for the mini fridge.

    The mini fridge didn't work but that wasn't a big deal to me. My main problem was with the front desk staff. I got a room for August 27th and August 28th; I checked out on August 29th. I paid for the room. After that transaction was complete, the guy behind the counter announced to me that there would be a $200 charge if I had pets or smoked in the room. I didn't have pets and I don't smoke so I wasn't too worried about it. However I just wish he had told me about that $200 charge before I paid for the room. I just felt like he was setting me up. When I checked out two days later I asked him if he wanted to walk through the room with me so that we would both be on the same page; I left the room exactly the way I found it. He told me that he didn't have time but he would call me if there was a problem. What do I do If he had just decides to take $200 off of my debit card? How would I prove in a court of law that I didn't smoke and/or have pets in the room? I've stayed at different Econo Lodge locations across the country. I've never encountered this sort of thing. I'm visiting family in Texas. I live in Maryland. If I discover after I got back home that $200 was fraudulently taken off of my debit card, I'm not sure how I would challenge it.

    Really rude , disrespectful , neglectful and extremely brave and not the good kind of brave either ! every single time I’ve stayed its always them testing people’s patience , and then some! Stay #1: I locked them deadbold and I got locked in & they can’t fix a door after being stuck inside cuz the deadbolt got jammed , they were about to break the door down cracked the ceiling , yet I opened it with a knife and it had ONE hairline scratch against the lock and then tries to force me to pay for it? Then forced me to leave the following morning by before checkout @ 10am !! Also they even put my belongings outside WITHOUT MY PERMISSION !! I was forced to wait outside in 104 degree weather cuz my husband was at work & then they wouldn’t let me check into the room even tho my name was on the reservation as well & thanks to that my husband being on his 90-day probationary period at the job he was fired for having to leave to go and get me out the heat ! And go get us both checked into the hotel. Stay #2 gave them the benefit of the doubt the managers wife tested my patience cuz their keycard machine didn’t read my card at all so she had to manually unlock the door for me every time we both left some place and then called me a “stupid stupid person” to my face and walked off talking in a different language screaming like a child throwing a temper tantrum. Stay #3 my cousin and brother both dropped off my husband at this raggedy hotel and paid for 2 days while I was hospitalized due to COVID & come to find out they “only received payment for one day” which was complete lies and they forced my husband who ended up getting hospitalized for heat exhaustion they think I’m playing when I told them I’m gonna file charges for their lies, and THEIR JOBS!!! My husband almost died because of them asking him to leave and then didn’t let him leave cuz they wanted to get disrespectful towards him , and he gave them the same level of disrespect!

    That i got to take a nap before finishing my trip

    There was nails in the parking area from them remodeling. There was cricket in my room making noise all night so I slept off and on. It wasn't very clean. I only used the room one night but was charged for 2 nights. An I did return the key so they would know I was not staying but the one night. Never got any money refunded
