How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Killed a cockroach in bathroom and next day they we're spraying the room beside us,but I know most places are hard to keep bugs out
Was close to walk to downtown attractions and restaurants, pool pretty nice,employees we're super nice, house keeping checked on us everyday to make sure we didn't need anything, would stay again.

Somehow our dog found a black sock and ate it. Apparently the room wasn't as clean as I thought. I know it wasn't ours because we don't wear black socks. The only place she had been was the room and our car. Thankfully she was able to get it out.
Close to downtown Gatlinburg and pet friendly.

Room could have used some upgrade/fixing around the refrigerator area - refrigerator wasn't the coldest and the AC wasn't working the best. Room smelled like it had been closed up for a some time (stuffy) and we did see at least two Roaches during our one night stay. Also there was only enough toilettes for one person (sorry but there are usually two people).
Staff was nice polite and friendly, room appeared clean, The location was great for what we had plans for which is why I chose it. I believe my husband did say it was a nice pool.

Room, need to be updated. Paint and flooring go a long way
Location, very nicely landscaped. Value, with every place charging for a dog, this was the best deal Budget, Complimentary breakfast. Might not be fancy, but helps

The rooms weren’t very clean. At first the air didn’t work. Then in the next room they put me in, the floor was sticky. They were, however, nice and came to clean the floor for me.
The outside of every couple of rooms had a sitting area that was nice. They also had small areas of grass at the rooms which was very convenient for my dogs.

They could have more options for breakfast. The people working could be nice or courteous. Our neighbors smoked weed every night so that sucked. The light came into our room all night making it hard to sleep. They didn't make our beds but one day. The bedsheets were dirty when we arrived.
The breakfast was good the lady at the front seemed annoyed by us going. The pool is nice sized. The rooms are nice sized.

The breakfast wasn’t that great. We are use to it having waffles, biscuits, sausage (not microwaved) and scrambled eggs.
It was in a good location near downtown. The staff (skye) was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a good size and very clean.

I asked to please not be put on the ground level, and I got a room on the ground level. They had rooms on the upper levels but did not put us in one. The breakfast was not the greatest. The muffins were dry and the sausage was over cooked. The area to get breakfast was super small. None of this will keep me from staying here again.
we did not spend a lot of time at our room, as we were out on the strip seeing everything. The room was always clean when we came back.

When checking in the lady at the desk was very friendly. The rest of the stay the person at the front desk was so rude. Anytime we asked for anything they rolled their eyes at us made us feel very uncomfortable. Also charged us a random $15 fee after the lady at the front desk pretty much was yelling at me saying it’s because I wasn’t charged the right amount when we first checked in they finally returned it when I showed proof of the price we paid & the price we were supposed to pay matched up.
Great location and clean.
