    - Our room 208 was separated with another room by a door, a family was very noisy at night was there, it sounded like it was in our room. You have to hit the wall and settle the problem yourself. Unacceptable for this price, first goal of a hotel being that you come here to sleep.

    - Nice stay, great room, breakfast, swimming pool and spa! Personnel was great

This hotel is a short walk to the Purple Pie House, it is also centrally located within the National Parks and the Black Hills.

The rooms could be cleaner. The toilet could use a cleaning with Soft Scrub cleaner.

    The hallways smelled funny.

It was roomy and quiet. I didn't need or register for a suite or handicap room, but that's what we got. I guess because it was handicap accessible it was a larger room and bathroom, and it had an extra bedroom.

Breakfast. I realized after a couple of days in similar hotels that this is some kind of standrad in the US but it is just awful. Everything is artifical junk food. Better to skip it.

    Calm place and kind staff.

We were put in an adjoining room with a complete stranger. Not a fan of that.

The location was close to downtown, but also quiet. Staff were polite. The room was nice. I liked that the sink was outside the bathroom so both could be used at the same time.

Some neighbors were a bit loud and a dog was constantly barking, no coffee maker in the room.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Old, but well taken care of. Great location, easy to get out and explore in any direction. Pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing.

This is a very basic motel with some upgraded elements. I didn't notice until the third day that there was a long black hair not my own right there in the sink that housekeeping somehow missed. The toilet was one feature that was not upgraded, the toilet seat seemed excessively cheap. The fridge lacked a temperature control or a freezer compartment, which would have really opened up options for eating in. The breakfast was very basic with lots of low-quality carbohydrates and powdered eggs, slightly below average for a free hotel breakfast. (Admittedly the bar is pretty low to begin with for free hotel breakfasts). One day they just ran out of fruit. The room was on the small side, but perfectly adequate for one person.

This property is in an excellent location and is reasonably priced. The fridge and microwave are very nice to have. It's nice not to have to eat out for every meal. I appreciated that they had housekeeping service every day of my stay, although when I checked in they said it was by request so you might have to ask for it. I did not request it but they made up the room each day anyway. The room was also very, very quiet. I did not hear any disturbances from other guests and there was no road noise that I noticed (my room faced the back of the building). The bed was very comfortable and the bedding good quality.

The address given with the hotel was not correct. We drove around town and couldn't find it. I called the hotel and she gave me the correct address and directions. She said "I don't know why it does that sometimes." A couple of kids ball teams were booked there. They took over the breakfast room and we couldn't get to the food. I walk with a cane and my son-in-law uses a wheelchair, so it was almost impossible to get to the food, what was left of it, with all those kids.

    The pool was great.
