Well the things i didn’t like that i shows in the pic that had a hot tub it shows a bar those were the main reasons i pick this hotel shows paddling boats and all that is all destroyed

I imagine this was a wonderful place to stay years ago. Was told that the restaurant and bar would NOT be open on a Friday night - perhaps because there were not enough guests booked in the resort. Rather odd smells throughout, could not tell if it was musty, moldy, or from what signage described as renovations.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were nice with a view of the lake.

It was very cold in the whole hotel... my room was freezing and never actually warmed up, pool area was cold, and there was no hot tub as advertised in photo. I was very disappointed and ended up driving home at 10 at night because my son and I were uncomfortably cold and couldnt warm up. I also booked a double room which it was not. Just a single normal hotel room.

Staff was friendly amd room was clean.

I DIDNT LIKE THAT WE WERE THERE WITH THE KIDS, WAS TOLD NO SMOKING AND PLACED REAKED OF MARIJUANA.

WENT WITH THE FAMILY, KIDS LOVED THE POOL.

Problems with staff. Hall carpet could do with a clean

The place had seen better days the day time staff were very off and not very friendly. I have a food intolerance to coffee and had a great deal of trouble getting hot water for tea. I had to speak to the manager before I was give hot water. It was not a pleasant stay

Our bathroom was not the cleanest, could have complained and I’m sure they would have accommodated. Everything else was clean but the rooms were definitely a bit outdated and run down.

There was no breakfast, also this place needs some major updating. I understand they’re going through a change in ownership but almost everything was closed and not kept very well.

The exterior of the building is in awful condition. My first thought was that I’m not staying here. Decided to check the inside, which was better. The restaurants and the bar were all closed.

The rooms are kind of musty. Also, it was desolate. So kinda freaky. My family members kept saying it was like the shining hotel. Lol.

There was a lot of false advertisement and old pictures of the hotel that weren’t up to date. They showed a jacuzzi in the picture but it wasn’t there. Also they showed the rooms with microwave and refrigerator but when we arrived we apparently had to request it ahead of time. The food we brought went bad because we had to wait another day for the refrigerator. They also showed paddle boats we could rent but no one was managing it. The restaurant that they showed in the picture was also abandoned. They were really short staffed and our rooms balcony was dirty.

everything was closed almost the whole time went to relax and swim during winter but indoor pool and hot tub were closed almost the whole stay restaurant was closed the whole time

The hotel is run down. It has so much potential but there hasn't been any attempt to do anything in awhile it seems. Outside our room there was a big hole in the ceiling. Inside the room the smoke detector was hanging from wires out of the ceiling, the sink in the bathroom was cracked, the drain in the tub was pulled out and sitting on the edge, the popcorn ceiling in the bedroom area was peeling or missing in big patches, and the mattress was an old spring one with a dip that left my back killing me in the morning.

The location is extremely convenient for a visit to Old Sturbridge Village as well as restaurants to have a meal at. The view from our room was nice as well with a balcony looking towards the water.

Did have to carry luggage a long way. Next time will wait for a trolley. No microwave or refrigerator in room, but you can rent them for an additional $10 dollars per appliance per night. They will bring them to your room. Ate my lobster stew cold.

Showers were hot. Keurig machine in lobby. K cups in vending machine. Brought my own. Allowed to swim in pool. Did not bring my bathing suit. Lovely view of Lake and birds eating berries of tree outside my window.

All restaurants were closed. Hot tub was emptied , common areas were dimly lit.

The hotel is showing its age. Rust around the toilet. Black under the rim of the sink. no plug in the tub. Windows were hard to see thru. I giant white tent blocking our view of the lake.

The hotel is dated it seems like they are trying but it's not up to today's standards it's an old relic hotel needs a lot of upgrades
