After we found out the bedsofa’s are not usable for kids 15 and 17 we got an upgrade to a room with three beds that was magnificent. Fitness area was great. The pool needs more intense cleaning but was great. Nice restaurants and activities nearby and friendly people. Lovely short three day stay. Valet service works great.

Loved the room and the bed and chair were very comfortable. Beautiful marble floors and tub. The whole lodge was amazing. We had dinner at Alpine in the lodge and the food was delicious and we had a great waitress named Donna. This was our first time here and we're definitely coming back.

The lodging was expensive, and it cost >$100.00 for transportation one way to the site. The dinner options were limited at the on- site restaurant. There were a greater variety of affordable and less "formal" food options at the on-site cafeteria,but it was not open for dinner. Town restaurants would do well to offer coupons or specials to resort guests .

It’s very expensive, but Ski in/ski out is hard to beat, especially the well thought out ski valet room and system! Our room was spacious, although beds and pillow choices weren’t as comfortable as we would have liked. Nice to swim and hot tub apres ski, but very crowded in the hot tubs, so timing is key. Delicious dining choices all around. Our trip ended on a sour note when we returned home and found that the car valet hadn’t put my husband’s skiboots in our car. Luckily after calling them, they were identifiable by our massive bill tucked in one boot. Unfortunately my husband had to drive 2 hours to retrieve them the next morning!

Not enough seating for size of hotel in lobby. Bar in lobby looked temporary and inky staffed by one person at peak holiday times. Not enough capacity to eat in the restaurants in the evening and menu range limited and pricey.

The common seating area, lobby, wasn’t clean. There were no water fountains around. Only one in the basement. No water in the rooms. Not good for the environment.

Perfect for ski in ski out. Good resort for the families. Happy place to be during the holidays.

Hotel is pet friendly so we did wake up to dogs barking in the middle of the night, hotel did take some money off though as a compensation which was nice

The property was very nice and the studio room was very spacious and pretty. We loved the restaurants and the vibe of the lodge! The hot tub was awesome too!

There is a parking fee for valet. If not you have to walk five minutes or so from the parking lot to get to the lodge.

Perfect location. Close to Main Street with shops and restaurants. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub and the entire resort inside and out is beautiful very picturesque. Everything was pristine. The team at the resort were very friendly. It is a Pet friendly resort. There was only one restaurant open when we were there and not a lot of food choices on the menu but excellent service and a really kind and welcoming manager. The lobby is beautiful with two fireplaces that we enjoyed with plenty of comfortable places to sit. We loved the bath ropes that were provided that was a surprise when we walked in the room. We definitely look forward to returning to The Lodge at Spruce Peak.

The restaurant and room service were our least favorite aspect of the stay. The restaurant food was not great and the prices were not worth it. The room service food was cold when we got it, the prices, again, were too high for what we got and they forgot to add in items that we ordered so we had to call and have them sent up later which made the meal less appealing. If we hadn't had a long drive before arriving to the hotel, we would not have spent the money to eat at the hotel restaurant. Disappointing to say the least.

The room was amazing! We also had spa treatments and the facilities were wonderful and the services exceeded our expectations. The employees were both friendly and attentive.

The tipsy trout bartenders could have handled a situation better when we were brought out cold chowder. Our food was not brought in a timely manner and hot chowder was brought out at the end of the meal and still charged us for it. We still tipped well but we were disappointed.

Food at the restaurant, was not bad but not great either...do not remember the name, but not the fish restaurant.

Beautiful accommodations, staff was super friendly, informative and helpful in all the staffing positions, from bellman, to room service, reception and housekeeping....we stayed another night because of the location and the comfort at the lodge.
