Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesWe enjoyed our stay here - the rooms are big and beds are really comfortable. The staff and services are excellent. Lovely restaurant and bar downstairs with live music and the free wine hour and morning coffee in the lobby were all great. Highly recommend.

United StatesThe fee for valet parking is a bit much, but there free parking on the street during the weekend. The mini bar located in the rooms is ridiculously expensive. Other than that, great hotel, staff and location. We’ll definitely book them again.
The hotel is in close proximity to a lot of great amenities. My husband and I visited New Orleans for our anniversary. The food at nearby restaurants were delicious. The hotel has three restaurants in it that are appealing and the vibes there is nice. The hotel staff were nice and polite. Though there is no microwave in the room, they quickly accommodated us by bringing one for us to use. The hotel is clean and the ambience was great. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Everything was lovely about our stay. We chose the hotel for it's location. Staff was helpful. Valet parking is expensive ($62) but you can use the parking lot across the street for about $40 a day. Beds comfortable and we had a view of the bridge. No coffee maker in rooms but complimentary coffee available in the lobby in mornings.

United KingdomBooking advertises it as “breakfast included” - this is misleading. There is an allowance included which means the client must pay a lot of attention not to exceed such allowance (we did on the first day). It is not “full breakfast included” as stated. In fact, depending on the choice of the menu food, along with a simple drink (coffee), we would easily exceed the allowance. Breakfast is good but it is served slowly, so if you are in a rush, allow plenty of time to be seated, order and be served.
The overall vibe - lovely music playing (including a March) and fitting NOLA spirit. the staff were very helpful specially the lady in the reception and the ladies at the dinner. Spacious room and amenities. Free cold beverages at certain hours. Very clean.

United StatesI was not able to shower, I only stayed one night I got up to shower and the water was freezing it would not get hot for anything, I turned the knob over to the hot and the shower started to make a loud drilling noise like someone was doing construction. I did inform front desk on check out but she didn’t try to say she apologize nor did she offer any additional assistance! I also left my flat irons in the room and was given a website to report it and I never heard anything back from the hotel
Everything was amazing from check in to check out!! Deaveon was awesome and very kind!! He was very knowledgeable and continued to ask if we needed anything during the stay!!

United StatesMy only recommendation is hotel guests should be better informed regarding the need to use your hotel key in the elevator to select your floor. I love the security measure however there were several quests ( like me) who rode the elevator aimlessly not realizing I had to tap my key. Posting this information may alleviate some frustration.
The property was well maintained with a chic retro feel to it. I loved the location which was close to the French Quarter but still had enough distance from some of the daily and nightly partying.

Even though the property was sold out, the check in and check out process was smooth. The staff was very helpful and timely. Other than the crowds, you would have never known that the hotel was full.

From the moment I walked in to Kimpton - Fontenot, each time, I took a deep breath and the smell was lovely; I looked around and someone greeted me with at least a smile; when I went in my room I felt both comfortable and luxurious. I find it very strange to say - but I love this hotel. I thought hotels could be bad, good, or great; meet your needs or not; have extras... but LOVE a hotel? Yes. I have zero complaints. The bed was super comfortable. The room was big and there were drawers and surface areas for keeping things; there were outlets and USB for charging; even robes -- and even an umbrella! The cafe even has ICED coffee and iced tea as part of the morning 'coffee' for hotel guests. And the coffee is delicious. And there were a lot of extras - like wine hour - and I would still LOVE Kimpton without these. The exercise is also good - not tiny, has a variety, has yoga mats. Another extra - cool damp eucalyptus cloths to cool down. There is too much to cover everything. 6 out of 5 stars :)
