Lights didn't work for outside pool and patio area. We were on the first floor room above us had kids jumping around all hours of the night.

The staff was very friendly, and the location was convenient.

The door was broken, the water didn't get hot in the shower, there were no sheets/ blankets for the sleeper sofa, and the a.c. stop working in the middle of the night. Called the night clerk and received absolutely no help. After about an hour, we were finally able to get it to turn on after switching the batteries around in the thermostat.

The desk clerk, Mason, was amazing. We were having trouble with our room door, and he came to assist us in getting into our room. He even gave us a recommendation to a restaurant. He was very friendly. The ducks were cute.

I really enjoyed the location and I enjoyed the room the rooms could have been a little bit cleaner and I did see that they are going to renovate in the future the area is very good the pond was pretty cool family and I had a good time we went out to Sam Houston race Park and we checked out circus Soleil echo and we also went the next stage to check up the horse racing all in all it was a win-win very safe location good stuff

Check in took waaaaaay too long. At prime check out times nobody was at the front desk. It was challenging as well because I had just had surgery and couldn’t stand long. There was no bell or alert device so I was just standing and waiting.

I didn’t have any breakfast, but I loved how tucked in the hotel was, the duck pond was a wonderful surprise. A nice quiet location, yet close to everything. We ordered Dominican food from Comfort Foodie and it was delicious. I highly recommend.

Carpet in the hall and in the rooms is very worn \ stained and unfortunately had a few unexpected visitors to my room, but the cleaning crew took care of the issue immediately.

Staff was amazing. Front Desk to Cleaning Crew. Air conditioning being vented was amazing in every area of the room. It was perfect for the price. Thanks

There were a few things out of order but that was because Houston was without power for so many days.

We managed to get the only room left during the recent hurricane. The night staff was so lovely. The beds were really comfortable, rooms were dark and we had a late checkout. After we missed flights this place was perfect.

The social hour evening appetizers choices and the drink stations didn't work during the my stay. The pool needs more attention to get rid of the green algae like spots along the pool wall and the outside lighting around and in the pool wasn't turned on. In addition, there were several key card readers not working on the property.

Maybe don’t let pets in the rooms? I saw a boy trying to clean his dog poop in one of the hallways but he was making a bigger mess thankfully the staff noticed and cleaned spotless and deodorized the area

Standards are falling down by the day, understaffed, intermittent cleaning, guests taken for granted, staff evidently look unhappy. The brand name is being sacrificed and guests may be slowly looking for alternative brands

Standards are going down by the day. It appears staff are lean and hence difficult to cope with the amount of work required. Cleaning not done daily, guests taken for granted. Very unlike the brand name. Ended up moving to a different hotel brand and received great treatment there. Only one person serving breakfast during my visit, and the process was evidently slow due to pressure of work.

It’s a great name. Booked the hotel because it’s been always a choice because it has suites that cater to family needs.

There was a huge roach inside the room, the front lady was a long and she said she couldn't clean it cuz she was afraid of 🪳 too... :( So we had to take care of it our self... The kitchen light was clinching throughout our 3night stay. We asked for the first night, she said she will relate the message to the morning crew. In the morning, I asked for the light bulb to be changed but it didn't happened. Next morning, I asked again, the gentleman said he would switch it if he found the bulb.. but when we came back it wasn't done and last night I didn't bother to ask again.. I figured it was the fourth of July weekend and the shops are closed..The hotel must have been really nice 10 years ago. The furniture was outdated but it was sturdy. The pawn outside had lots of trash.

The rooms was spacious for a family of six. The two bedroom suites had 2 queens, 1 king and sofa bed. Nowadays the hotel doesn't make this size anymore. The lobby was a bit outdated. The breakfast was amazing. They had a hot breakfast and it was cold. The menu changed everything in the morning. They said during weekday evening 5 to 6pm (?) They even provide finger food with beer. There is a pool for kids, a little dog park and a huge pawn with ducks.

like the breakfast and social hour but was disappointed that they didn’t clean rooms and we had to ask for things we needed and if trash needed to be taken out. We were put on the 4th floor that had a previous flood and the floor smelled like mildew and dirty water. Our shower made noice while on, and the second to last day of our stay the housekeeping brought in towels and left our door open all day so when we got back it was open glad nothing was taken. I booked booking so they didn’t do a thing or credit or anything. So unfortunate.

The floor and the rooms had an odor, the building is old. First room the TV didn't work so they moved us to another room on the same floor. Same smell. Microwave handle was broken and still had spots of uncleanness.

Breakfast was good. Small selection but it was hot.

I was very disappointed. After checking in, we were assigned the wrong room. It was someone else's room with all of their belongings. The next day, the water was off in our room. I had to get a bucket, and take it up to my room on the 2nd floor to flush the toilet which was embarrassing because we had company. Also, someone was supposed to have brought us fresh linen for the bed, but we never got them. I was very disatisfied. It was my first time visiting Houston and that hotel. Very unhappy!
