    There was no breakfast provided!

There was nowhere to sit outside; no patio, no chairs, etc. There was a dingy window with film on it that had worn off that looked at the desert in the back of thd unit. The carpeting was worn and there was no water pressure in the shower. There was also no loveseat or chairs. We either had to sit on a small chair at the table of on the foot of the bed. I'm not sure why it was called a suite or why a $250 deposit was required! The place was nothing more than a substandard hotel room. We were both extremely surprised and disappointed!

Suite was immaculately clean and had very comfortable beds. Outdoors, the community is beautiful, quiet, and easy to navigate. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Because I was checking in after hours, I was welcomed by the security guard, Luis, who was exceptionally professional, courteous, kind, and helpful. The gym facilities are small, but well equipped and clean.

    No objections.

Great outdoor entrance, clean, quiet studio near hiking and the national park

Not as clean as I would have expected (not dirty but many little things were not cleaned regularly like windows or corners)

    • One (1) day before we arrived, I received a long voice mail message from the property announcing an upcoming renovation of the golf clubhouse, which included closure of the restaurant and bar and other amenities. We had made this reservation through Booking.com three months earlier, and Booking charged us for the full stay in advance. When I called the property and asked why we were not notified earlier, the response was that “we only heard about this from the golf club a week ago.” • Since we were driving down from Oregon we did not want to scramble and try to change this reservation and book another property elsewhere. • The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom amenities disappointing (tiny container shampoo for two people for two nights? The coffee was terrible and no creamer was provided – I drove to the clubhouse to get some. • Even though most hotels these days have you pre-pay your stay, and then also ask for a credit card to put a hold on a security deposit “for possible damages, or having a pet in your room, etc,” the first morning of our stay we had to listen to a small dog barking right next door to us. • On several occasions wi-fi slowed down or stopped working.

Beautiful natural location in the hills. Connects to amazing hiking trails. Golf course is stunning. The resort does not own the course but there is a symbiotic relationship between them. The pool is lovely and heated. The landscaping at the resort community is stunning. There is a gym by the pool that has enough machines if you need to get a workout in. There’s a bookshelf with books to enjoy while lounging at the pool, which was a thoughtful touch. We were in a one bedroom with living room and kitchen. Unit was a great size. We loved the southwest architecture and decor. Kitchen was clean and very nice. The resort is a bit far from anything, which we liked. About 10-15 min drive to get to anything (restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, etc.). We like the peacefulness of that. We love that it’s in the hills overlooking Tucson. The stars at night are tremendous. Lots of wildlife. We saw herds of deer, a family of Javalinas, a tortoise, a few varieties of snakes, a bobcat, road runners…. Did I mention the hiking and Golf course views are spectacular?

Biggest down point for us was the thinness of the walls between units. Not sure if we were in an older section, but you could hear the people in the unit next door talking, as if they were in the room with us. Other than that our experience was sometimes a bit odd because the resort was starting renovations. So I’m sure our experience was not the norm because of that timing. There was no restaurant, no spa, no gift shop, and we were told we could not use our patio, which was disappointing. The women’s bathroom was out of order in the main building, and missing artwork on the walls and other renovation prep (like starting to empty the golf shop) made the main building lackluster and look like we were staying in a closing business. Staff were very nice and helpful and the resort did give us a $50 gift card to a local restaurant due to the variety of inconveniences, which was definitely appreciated, but it was disappointing that it was not a polished resort experience.

Great location, quiet area and great hikes right next to the property.

I read in the reviews that you could hear people in the adjacent rooms but thought I would chance that I stayed next to someone quiet or no one at all. No luck. I heard the family next door yelling at their kids and swearing. If they could improve the soundproofing, this place would be phenomenal! Also, the hot tub was also broken. 😔

Spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, good location, great views.

The property seemed a little outdated, there was a musty smell when we arrived. Not sure how well the pool was taken care of - lots of bugs floating on the surface.

    Nice location and great pool

They would not give me a room without a connecting door. You can hear everything from the other room as if there was no door!

We didn't get to stay there 😞 they said on my check in date that they had to move me and 4 others family members 44min away to another location. I didn't even get the option to cancel 👎

I didn't get a call or message until last minute saying there ac unit was down in 2 of our rooms I booked. Not happy with the staff and how everything was done. Not a great experience for my bday weekend.

Great location if you look for remote place to stay; about 20 minutes to the city by car. Beautiful views of the mountains and the valley with Tucson lights in the distance. Room had a small fridge, microwave, toaster, all utensils/dishes. Not perfect but we enjoyed our stay. Big pool. Golf course. Tennis court. Very few people using any amenities.

I wish they turned the pool area lights off at night for the sake of dark skies. Restaurant was closed. Door between 2 suites is not sound prove - you can hear everything from adjacent room.
