Too expensive for a room that looked like it had not been updated in 40 years. The window in the bathroom was open when we arrived. So we figured it was to let the smell of mildew/1970s cabin-esque air out. So we left it open and when we came back that night, there were hundreds of small, dead bugs in the bottom of the shower. Also caught a horse fly the size of my pinkie flying around in there. There was only one tiny trash can for the whole room. There was a TV, but it did not seem to have any connection to the internet for streaming services or have standard cable. No picnic tables outside to sit and eat at. Only one, sad looking grill for the entire motel.

It was close to downtown Mackinaw City. Easy to find right off of I-75. It was not too crowded for a summer weekend.

Bathroom needed updating. Floor felt very dirty. Found a couple of hairs under the sheets.

Location was nice and had access to the walking/bike path to walk to the shopping strips and ferry. The Family suite was an awesome price!

The bathroom could use a touch, older establishment so the bathroom is small/tight, hey but very functional.

Front desk personnel were very pleasant. Room was sufficiently large enough for two. Easy check in.

The space is very outdated. Like very. There are wall a/c units and teeny mini-fridges. The bedding was nice but beds are a bit too soft for me. I was most upset about the pool area. The outdoor pool had algae and it was freezing, and the indoor pool had stuff floating in it. My best guess is that they painted the bottom and the paint was flaking off, but it was absolutely everywhere. We had family staying at a nearby campground and were originally reserved M-Fri. We thought about extending our stay to include Sat, but the rate doubled, so we opted out.

The location was great, and the price was right for what it is. We had a double with 2-rooms and it was perfect for my husband and our son.

For one, the shower heads are very short. I am 5'10 "and towered over the head, so if you're taller than 5'0", it might be a nuisance. Secondly, you have to request room cleaning??? And don't expect it very quickly. It also smelled like piss after our first day there for some reason. I suspected it was from our bathroom & water but we didn't investigate enough to find out.

It is very close to Mackinac Island and Mackinac City's downtown amenities. The beds were comfy enough, and the rooms were clean. The staff was awesome, and checking in/out was seamless.

The room rate was high, probably because I booked last minute. The value for money is nowhere near as good as it could have been, but it was nice to be close to Mackinau city.

Our dead bolt did not work. Rooms are outdated but clean as possible. Lamp would not work changed to another outlet it worked. So outlet was bad, they must known, because they had an extension cord to the clock.

Staff was friendly and helpful on answering questions and recommendations.

The inside pool was not opened and the outside pool should have been closed. You couldn’t even see the bottom. Did not use as I have an open and something is for sure wrong. Needed to be cleaned and chemicals badly. There was spider webs in our room with a half a dollar side spider in the bathroom. The box spring had stains on it. The smell in the room smelled as mold. The alarm clock was not pulled in and the tv was not working. Had to figure out how to fix. Did not like that there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. And did not like that the front desk was not at the hotel. Didn’t feel safe about that.

Very old motel room, super small spaces. We had problems with paying our bill. Not sure and never told why we didn't have a bill. To this day we still don't have a bill. Staff is very rude and we are unhappy with this situation.

The facility is definitely aging. Rooms could use some repairs and updates. The pool is currently being renovated and the hot tub is out of order (there is another smaller pool that is still open).

Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a very nice playground for kids with swings, slides, and other items. The location is convenient to Mackinaw City shopping and the island ferries.
