When we first got there, we were greeted in such a friendly manner at the front desk. We love the fire pits at night and our balcony view of the ocean was wonderful.

Horrible neighbors on both sides who were loud late into the night, yelling to each other across my room in the middle — not the property’s fault, but it can get really loud if you have inconsiderate neighbors. (A shame because listening to the surf all night is my reason for staying here in the first place.)

The little beach cove is one of the prettiest places in the world — have been coming here for years. Definitely get a room on the ocean side of the property!

The patio. It was a little dirty with candy wrappers that were visible. Also we were by a fire ant hill so we couldn't enjoy the patio. Lastly to get a balcony view of the beach, it is a little pricey.

We loved how close it was to the beach and how they offered smores to take down to the fire pit.

Didn’t really feel like it was ocean view because of all the bush and shrubs were blocking most of the view from our room. It being that we were on the main floor. Pro was that we were able to walk right out to the fire pit could not see the ocean view.

Location was nice, right off the 101 and a shell gas station across the street. Fav part was the fire pits right outside our balcony.

Not enough hooks in the bathroom and the couch was noisy & uncomfortable as a couch. We did not try it as a fold out bed. It did not have an elevator!

I loved the staff, the view, and the amenities and the access to restaurants, gas and an amazing deli plus beautiful walks. The room was spacious with nice features plus a beautiful view from the balcony!

There was a bit of noise from those walking in rooms overhead, but it wasn’t too bad and didn’t affect our sleep.

We loved the location with a beautiful view of the ocean, access to the beach, firepit and tables, and the heated pool!

Excellent prime real estate location but the facility it is kind of old. We enjoyed the use of the fire pits the gas it is provided from 7 to 10 pm but it works longer time . We notice that some locals and people from other hotels are using the fire pits and there wasn’t any body from the hotel enforcing the rule that they were for the spyglass hotel guests use only. Many locals are using the hotel parking knowing that no body cares.

Location is excellent I dint have a room with view but if you get one it is beautiful. Making a reservation through booking doesn’t help to get a good room in this hotel . I enjoyed the fire pits .

The bed was a bit lumpy, some of the furniture was a tad worn, but our biggest disappointment was as that their wonderful restaurant was closed for refurbishment.

A simple continental breakfast is always nice, but because there was a refrigerator in the room, we could bring a few items of our own.

Bed was comfortable, balcony was nice with a view of the ocean, check-in went smoothly. This was our third time staying here, and we will come again!

The beds are horrible. Extremely soft and lumpy with dips in bed area where you sleep. Cushions on chairs extremely dirty had to cover with a sheet. Bare minimum. Refrigerator missing piece in door. Floor feels dirty. Needs maintenance and get new beds, these are bad. Lighting is weird. Dark corners.

I didn’t realize how far it was from pismo. I also didn’t like that every time I went to go roast smores with the kids all the fire pits were taken…. We had to wait til the morning and it was already hot!

I liked how all the hotels had a pathway and you can walk around there locally, I did like that the pool was heated

The place seemed worn. For close to $300/night I expected better. Our feet got dirty walking around in the room. The sound insulation was poor, guests above us could be heard walking in their room.
