Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesProperty was ongoing a MAJOR renovation (BEYOND the point others close their properties during)(walked in an Emergency Exit door, checked in at a makeshift Front Desk set up in a Conference Room, walked through a construction zone to get to the elevator). Was NEVER told they charge…wait for it…$12.00 PER NIGHT for a PARKING SPOT in their parking lot that BADLY needs potholes filled in and repaved before someone twists/breaks an ankle!). Didn’t discover the charge until I got the emailed receipt later the next day (the printer was ‘down’. Don’t try calling the General Manager to ask about it. He/She are as elusive as the Santa Clause! I have said in LOTS of SpringHills, it’s one of my preferred chains, but I’d HIGHLY advise skipping this one, I will be! There’s other Hotels right next door
The property was okay, room was unexpectedly nice.

United StatesMost of the common space including pool were under construction. The temporary front desk area looked very unprofessional. The temporary entry door did not have any security key feature and was open late into the evenings. Front desk was unattended, so I don’t consider the hotel to be very secure. I could not find an entry on the booking site that notified guests of the massive construction going on and the guest limitations. While the refurbished room was nice, it had some deficiencies. There was no chest of drawers to unload out suitcases, only two small drawers on the night stands. The long suitcase stand spanned the top of HVAC unit under the window. When the suitcases are open the top side hits the nice window shades that have been installed. The shades will be damaged in no time if guests have to live of suitcases instead of drawers. The closet door once opened, would not close again. There is no towel rack in the kitchen. The ice machine on our floor was missing, which the front desk did not seem to be aware of. If the hotel has WiFi, they didn’t offer the password at checkin, so I’m not sure it is down. Only basic cable stations were on the TV, we couldn’t even find any movie channels or a guide to tell us what was available.
Newly refurbished room was very nice especially the bathroom, shower, & kitchenette. Friendly and generally helpful staff. Construction areas were completely sealed off, but we did detect a little dust in the area. The breakfast was very nice, better than average, even though limited (e.g. waffle station missing waffle maker machine)

United StatesOur room was stuffy and hot. I opened the window thinking that would help. Even though the weather was cool and gloomy, the room remained pretty warm at night. Also, there was no side entrance to our floor. We had to go through the lobby, after exiting from the side door because there was no way to get back in.
It was spacious and clean. We were placed near the pool! The bed was comfy and the shower was great!

United StatesCould use outlets by the beds. Rooms are dated.
Good location with easy access to Downtown Denver. The room was a good size, beds comfortable, and a decent work area. Small microwave and fridge with sink. Bathroom was fine with decent towels. I feel that overall, although very comfortable, the hotel is a little dated and there were no outlets by the beds which was inconvenient. Good breakfast with hot options (eggs, sausage, waffles) and also cereal, toast, muffins, etc. The laundry room was useful and cost $2 for a wash and $2 to dry. The staff were extremely helpful and upgraded us to a mountain view at no extra charge.

United StatesThe only down thing was the thermostat was not working properly, but it was fine while we slept. We were off on our family adventures so that was not really a concern and the mini fridges didn't seems to keep things as cd as maybe they could or should.
