They didn’t make the couch up. We needed to do and also they didn’t give extra blankets, we were cold.

Queen bed was huge, I love it! Breakfast was also really good, there were options.

The high parking fee was an unpleasant surprise. Paint was peeling high up on the ceiling in the breakfast area.

The breakfast buffet had a great selection. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable.

No vending throughout the hotel, only at front desk. Paid parking (I paid to stay here, I shouldn't have to pay to park too). No travel sized products in the room, all full size (unsanitary when used by other guest before/after).

Breakfast was good. Location easy to find. Staff friendly. Room clean and orderly.

It's just a little outdated but very good value for money.

Incredibly friendly staff and the room was spotless. Kids loved using the pool and it was a great stop off for an early morning flight out of Chicago o hare.

It was a little dated. Very difficult getting in and out of the building with striker and luggage’s.

The fire alarm in our room was very close to the bathroom. Even a single shower, not particularly hot, would set it off

The room was large and clean, and the breakfast had decent options. Noise insulation seemed fine, and I was able to get a good night’s sleep. The location is fairly convenient, with the subway about a 15-minute walk away.

I am not a fan of the open sink plan. I prefer the washroom to be inside the bathroom not outside of it.

Prior to check in, I had corresponded regularly with the property regarding one query or the other, yet when I showed up at the property and referred to a few things we had discussed, the girl at the front desk denied having had any prior communication with me. She insisted that my correspondence must have been with the third party that I had booked through and not with anyone at the hotel. That was really weird. I know for a fact that my correspondence had been with the hotel staff, maybe not that particular girl who was on duty at that time, but definitely with someone from the hotel. The hotel should have had a record of it. The front desk girl denying having any knowledge of it was very strange.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast selection was very good

wish there was a dry of steam sauna in the pool area, or even a hot tub.

decent breakfast, always fresh coffee available 24/7 -------very appreciated!, clean lobby hotel outside, plenty of smoking areas also appreciated, most staff very professional and friendly, nice pool.

Some facilities were outdated or needed a little upgrade. But for the price there was nothing negative to say.

The room was very spacious, the mattress very comfortable and the kitchenette very helpful as we traveled as a family. The hotel is located within 10 minutes walking from the next cta station which was very convenient to get to downtown Chicago. Also the hotel offered a heated pool which was great to end the day. To start the day right the hotel offered a great variety of breakfast options. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would recommend it, too.

Access to the CTA Blue Line, which I used everyday. The shuttle drivers were kind enough to drop me off if they didn't have a big crowd, but I ended up walking to and from the Cumberland station several times, including at night. The road crossings are protected by crosswalks and lights, but the lot next to the hotel lacks a sidewalk and lighting.

Everything: The room, housekeeping, the complimentary breakfast, the front desk staff and the shuttle.

Pool was small and felt creepy being in a basement without windows. The way the acoustics of the room would echo when the kids were splashing and yelling (as kids do) was so uncomfortable and extremely loud that I could not hold a conversation with the person sitting next to me. My Apple Watch even said I was in a harmfully loud environment. We ended up all leaving with headaches. Really need something that absorbs the sound. One of the biggest reasons we picked this hotel was for the pool. Big disappointment in that regard.

Nice large room, clean, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful front desk. Was fun to watch the train go by while we were having breakfast.
