The outside had recently been painted & new windows, but our room sure could have used a refresh. Many stains on the ceiling of the bathroom and peeling paint around the shower. Also, we had a very slow drain in the shower ( hair clog) and backed up toilet . Fortunately, the front desk had a plunger, and the maintenance person came early the next morning You can hear the room above trampling around. Thankfully, they did not keep it up all night

It could use a little more brightness overall, brighter hallways. Also an automatic door to the front desk would be extremely helpful when carrying luggage.

It would have been nice to have at least a continental breakfast-first place we’ve stopped that only had coffee. Didn’t realize when we booked,so not any fault of theirs.

The fridge and dishwasher was dated but clean on the inside.

I think this was a good location near some attractions and restaurants. I liked that there were nonstick pots and a skillet. The room was decent size and it was clean.

Drawers of the chest of drawers were constantly sliding out, it was not possible to close them. Chair with wheels did not roll, the stairways smell was terrible, coffee was not drinkable, during the day saw (and killed) a cockroach on the kitchen counter.

Front desk staff was pleasant, location was great, on a quiet street, could walk to a couple restaurants . The building has an elevator. The room was spacious and the window faced the woods. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was powerful, plenty of towels, fridge and microwave worked.

Bed was a little soft for my liking. Some of the kitchenware was lacking, there was only 1 spoon and no can opener. Not a huge issue if you're traveling alone, but made it difficult to prepare meals.

Location was close to many amenities as long as you have a car. Shower was solid and had good heat and good water pressure. Staff was extremely kind and friendly, which was a surprise considering it was Holiday and they had to work. Gym facilities weren't incredible, but better than most small hotel gyms.

Refrigerator is noisy, disturbing at night. The mattress was too soft for us, but it’s a matter of personal taste.

My only issues were the air conditioning, appliances, internet and mattress. The air conditioner was loud, only one eye on the stove top functioned, the refrigerator had a loud noise, and the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable.

Overall the property is quiet, safe and clean. The desk staff and head of housekeeping are great! Both the laundry and exercise areas are well maintained.

FIX the WASHING MACHINES and the DRYERS. The biggest issue for me was when I wanted to wash a week's worth of laundry AND only 1 of 5 dryers were working. THERE was no advance notice that the laundry facilities were so BROKEN.

Based on the 8.0 rating on booking, I expected the room to be a little more updated. Much of the furniture was visibly worn and, like many places these days, the room could use a good deep-cleaning in the corners and such. But overall, it's a nice place, especially at the price we paid.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived to the sofa bed already set up with linens on. The room was clean. The beds were comfy. The kitchenette was stocked with just enough for our small group.
