The hotel needs better management. Check-in time is relatively late (4 pm), yet the rooms were not ready by that time. The receptionists would have let us sit for another 30 minutes had we not remained standing at the counter. There was a surprising level of inflexibility and lack of willingness to offer a solution, be more welcoming, et cetera.

The room was great: it had a comfortable sofa, a desk, kitchenette and a queen size bed. The pool was fun, too, though there were often no towels left. Valet parking was convenient and reasonably priced.

The breakfast was there but we felt it was very low quality ingredients. It was included as genuis benefits so we didnt mind too much.

Location is great, there are parking lots like a block away, daily rates are 20-30usd. On site parking is only valet. The room was clean but there was a general musty smell, which is a general problem I suppose in the area. The pullout bed was not the best.

Staff were really helpful, and were quick to solve any issues. This is a busy family hotel which I really liked. Breakfast was good every morning too, lots of choice. Great value for money.

You had to give a day's notice for your room to be cleaned.

The policy about not cleaning rooms unless it’s been a week during your stay was not ideal but the size and comfort of the room we got made up for it. We had an upgraded one bedroom queen suite - rm 311 - that could have used more furniture in the living room but we made due. The shampoo and conditioner need to be ungraded.

Most of the staff was friendly, like Toi, the and the maintenance and housekeeping staff. The front desk was hit and miss - some great, some ready to go home. The pool was nice and the towels were always clean and fresh. Linens and other amenities were solid. The location was also good. Not too far from the “action” and just outside to be away from all the noise - about 1.1 miles.

Facilities and rooms are a bit tired, but comfortable. Aircon was noisy in my room.

The lobby door sensor couldn't identify smaller children and my 2 youngest got "locked" in and out often.

We were there for a week and the breakfast hit the spot daily. The seating fills up fast but there is extra space outside. The walls are solid concrete so we didn't hear our neighbors once! The daily popcorn in the lobby was a nice touch. Everyone here remembered our names.

The room itself could do with some minor updates. The breakfast was chaotic, it only had like two options, scrambled eggs (watery and sad) with bacon and pancakes. There were only paper plates and plastic cutlery (which apparently is common in the US but still not unacceptable for me).

The room was spacious as it was a suite with a lounge and a kitchen. The swimming pool was great because it got plenty of sun.
