In the lobby and in the hallway outside my room there was a strong scent. I was only there one night. The scent wasn’t in my room.

Strict cancellation policy even four days out. Tiny coffee cups. No waffle toppings. Eggs and sausage was cheap. Surfaces were clean, sheets were clean, however things were not deeply cleaned, for example I went looking for bugs by checking the sheets and mattress and found too much old dirt and dust from decades. My first room had food and toys and coins behind the mattress. The bolt lock on the door did not work. Room two, on the third floor tile floor was dangerously broken, (law suit level). Second floor hallway had a mystery sweet smell like drugs or highly perfumed carpets, IDK. The front desk has thin plexiglass from COVID, its cracked and broken looking like ghetto security shielding. Notice almost all pictures of the hotel are professional not patrons. Such potential, all it needs is some simple work.

Good coffee in mini to go cups. Waffle machine. Most everything seemed clean. Yogurt. Parking had good lighting. Mattress was good, pillows nice. Bathroom was clean. The hotel has such great potential with just a little more work. The price is good for what you get. 24 hour front desk service. Elevator was large, fast, clean. Stairs were clean and safe. Breakfast area was large and open with TV. Front desk man was professional and spoke well.

I got a room where you could hear some fans from the window, which disturbed my sleep. In the morning I was woken up by the loud water from the shower next door

They did not clean out the in-room fridge prior to my visit. The bathroom toilet needs checking, it would run for long periods after being flushed.

The price and location fit nicely into my other plans for the weekend, and it was close to things I needed.

They had continental breakfast which was nice. However, had multiple signs posted that you had to eat it in the dining room. No food could be taken to the hotel room you were paying for.

When I asked the front manager for an extra towel, he stated they only issued 1 extra towel per guest!! And was very hesitant to give me another, I basically had to explain what I was using it for.

Older mattresses- spring style. They ran out of creamer for the coffee on Monday morning. No creamer left and none in the back. Front desk called our room and accused us of smoking in a non smoking room due to a complaint they received. But we don’t smoke.

Whenever the air was not on there was a musty odor but I always travel with room spray for that. Need to update the book for the TV stations. The numbers did not match the stations listed

Although the breakfast was the same everyday it was very good! The waffles came out perfect every time and the eggs were tasty. All food groups were met! Also the location was great. Right off the street and very visible and lit!
