In general, our stay was pleasant. Beautiful location.

We arrived at 3:30 to check in. We were told our room would not be ready until four and we would be sent a text notification. We were offered a pet friendly room instead on the ground floor near the restaurant area. I think we opted to wait because that is not what we requested. At 4:15 we went back and got in line at the front desk and were told that the room still wasn’t ready, but that they would give us a two drink tickets.

Breakfast was good. My husband had steelhead hash and said it was excellent. I ordered the breakfast plate. Side of sourdough toast arrived dry. When I asked for butter, the young man brought me a bowl of rock, solid butter balls. we also ordered the bloody Mary’s off of your brunch menu. They were $13 apiece and they were awful. Watered down and I think they forgot the vodka altogether. We didn’t drink them.

When we checked in and asked about breakfast, nobody mentioned we need a reservation, or on the weekends it’s one hour wait. Wifi was basically non-existent. There was a private event (like a wedding) right under our window till 10pm with loud music, and even after that it was still quite noisy outside.

This place is a great weekend destination for families and I was surprised to discover it! Their facilities are amazing, they have a lap pool with hot tubs, saunas, spa treatments, zip lines, playgrounds, hiking trails, workshops and so much more, and I wish we stayed a bit longer to enjoy it all. Our room was great, enough space for a family of four, and the huge fireplace was amazing! With proper planning it can be a great place to spend 2-3 days easily! Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to have breakfast here, because it’s by reservation only, and this was a big disappointment for us, because we had to checkout and leave, and didn’t have a chance to explore outdoors in the morning. The river view was amazing.

Needs more options for separate sleeping for kids/adults. Making reservations for breakfast is wild. Waiting for breakfast because we didn’t make reservations is even more wild. Website didn’t mention anything about a breakfast buffet option

Lots for kids to do. Pool was great

    No complaints from my family.

The setting is beautiful and the vibe serene. It's a place where you're left to yourself to unwind. It was great for adults and kids, and there are things to do together and independently. We only stayed one night and will definitely be back for more! It'd be a great couples option, too.

Maybe not a good value for the money as room prices are very high for what you get. Electric car charging, although appreciated, was above market prices for similar chargers.

Common areas are very opulent, along with the gorgeous setting in nature. Staff was very pleasant to deal with.

Salmon on the menu would have been nice seeing that your on one of countries main salmon watershed. Any steak besides flank steak would have been a better option…NY, Rib eye, Filet etc….

Lounge menu was very nice and food very good. In the main dining room the menu snd its value was not that great. Could not eat the prime rib…too stringy and tough. Neither my wife nor I could eat it.

It really was wonderful, but pretty noisy, kids running up and down the halls, but that's to be expected for a Lodge. Hardly ever a place to sit in the common area, people tended to camp out for hours at a time, which didn't allow others to have a turn, but it was ok.

Beautiful location and views, we were celebrating our anniversary, so it was pretty special. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic! Food was fantastic also. The town of Stevenson was so friendly.

A beautiful resort — but don’t get the room service.

Room service experience — aside from the staff, who, again, were friendly and helpful — was notably disappointing. With tax and tip, I paid $57 for a kale salad and some clams that were served with terrible chorizo, and two of the clams didn’t open. This is a food safety issue and should have been caught before they were plated. But they weren’t really “plated” — their room service program is called Skamania To Go, and everything was served in takeout containers. For $57, I got to stab my kale with a plastic fork in a clamshell box and wrap up my dishes in a flimsy trash bag so I wouldn’t wake up to the smell of clams in the morning. That’s not room service, that’s GrubHub at twice the price.

Forest view room had a beautiful forest view. Lobby area is lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked a “pet” room and upon arrival there was dog kibble all over the floor. Picked it up by hand and had a handful of kibble before tossing it. Terrible vacuum job.

The cost was quite high. The coffee in the rooms needs a little upgrade and a microwave inside the room I think should be a no brainer. Lastly, the pool hours could be extended a little later than 9pm for adults when the check in time isn’t until 3pm anyway.

It was absolutely beautiful and serene. The beds were comfortable and the grounds were welcoming and relaxing. The hot tubs and pool were perfect! Lastly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to provide superb service.
