The room didn't have a mini fridge. Aircon was extremely loud and was very hard to sleep with it on. Vue out of window looked into other rooms, meaning we had to keep our blinds closed.

    Excellent location, housekeeping throughout stay.

Charge for a mini fridge a bit unnecessary given overall price paid. Key cards needed replacing every time we returned to room. 2 bedroom suite had no doors on rooms so very open-plan. No issue but could be for some people.

Great location for exploring NY - walked to many sights and easy subway access. Fairly basic but met expectations. Both lifts working unlike many reviews so no issues there. Staff always helpful and coffee available from lobby shop.

Disgasting state of the carpet, plugging sockets quite old and unaccessible. Shower old as well. Clearly the hotel screams for a refurbishment.

Our first room we were given smelled smoky, so we changed rooms. The next was better. Also, our hair dryer was broken in the room we stayed in. Last, the "down" call button on the elevator didn't work on the 7th floor. We soon learned that we had to press the Up button to call the elevator.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequately sized. Better than some NYC hotel rooms I've stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My son had stayed there a day earlier, and he had been put up in the older wing... was much more 'tired-looking/feeling' than the one I was in (we compared notes). Perhaps they ought to flag, and have a differential charge.

Fantastic location. Also, seems there are two wings, and I was put up in the refurbished one. Room was nice (which is what you need).

No coffee maker in room and tub did not drain well. But water pressure and temp were on point.

We had a balcony and the room was spacious for a family of three. The location was fabulous for midtown close walk to park, shopping and great restaurants and food market.

I was surprised the room was very clean compared to my last stay in New York where the hotel I stayed at had a very small room, the air condition did not work, and it costed more money than Shoreham.

The room was very clean and spacious. The location was excellent for what I was in New York for. I did not have breakfast at the hotel though.

Hotel needs a little bit of renovation, the carpets in the room are old and stained.

Location is great, check in/out process super smooth and we could store our luggage for some time after checking out in the morning. A/C was working well and we had a room upgrade since the first one we got was a bit small.

We paid for a deluxe queen, but it felt like a standard room. Desk and wardrobe needed throwing out and replacing. Air con was noisy, but cold!! If planning to use take ear plugs.

Convenient location Very comfortable bed Helpful and friendly staff Toiletries in room and ice machine in lobby Nice little tuck shop onsite which serves hot Starbucks, which to be fair was better than getting it from the actual cafe. We had take our from the Chinese a few doors down and the portions were great

The decor is really dated. The room carpets and furniture are due for replacement. It's an old building so the corridors are narrow and the elevator is tiny. Not much they can do about that, but just be aware. The rooms don't have much of a view. No fridge, coffee machine or microwaves in the rooms...assuming again because it's an old building the electric can't support it. But no coffeemaker?? There's no lounge area except for a couple of benches in the lobby, so just know this is a place to sleep, and no more.

First things first. The showers are amazing at this hotel. The water pressure is the best. It's like you're in a car wash, lol. 2nd time here, same experience. Also, the rooms are spacious, typically a suite with a separate seating area. Beds are comfortable. Staff are pleasant. Location is superb. Just steps from Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and 5th Avenue

It is an old hotel and one lift was not working so wait times could be as much as 5 minutes. The rooms were very basic and there was not even a kettle or a bottle of water in the room

I had upgraded to a suite and Hector at check in was very helpful. The lady at check out was also very helpful as were all the staff in the hotel. It was decently priced and well located.

New York is very expensive, and so us this hotel - although there were many more expensive alternatives. The rooms are a bit dated, nothing fancy, no fridge. There is a restaurant at the ground floor, but no breakfast is offered.

The hotel is situated in Midtown Manhattan making many places easy to reach. Even with a window to the street the noise was not too loud. The reception is functioning 24 hours a day with friendly helpful staff. There is a small shop directly opposite of the reception selling drinks, snacks, and other useful things. The room was clean, sufficiently big. The air-conditioning worked well.

Very uninviting hotel lobby. The carpet in the hotel room was old and could be replaced with flooring like laminate or tiles - hygienic. Bathroom was dated and looked patched up. Basin was tiny. Lacking nice hotel room furniture, missing a mini fridge. AC was super LOUD.

Location, clean bedding, comfy bed. Price good for location.

The decor/rooms are quite dated with scruffy carpet. We also missed having tea/coffee making facilities in the room- I didn’t think to check when booking as I presumed these would be available given the hotel is 4*. You can purchase hot drinks at the little shop inside the hotel.

The location of the property was perfect for us, a short walk from Times Square, Central Park & the other main attractions we visited during our short stay. The bedrooms & bathroom are decent sizes & the shower is really good! The staff were really helpful & polite.

rooms are a bit worn. Nothing too serious, but does not live up to what one can expect from a 4-star hotel. Absence of a (mini) fridge is the room is highly inconvenient.

very spacious 2 bedroom accommodation. It was clean, personnel was friendly and attentive. Location is excellent: walking distance from various top tourist sites.
