No elevator and we had to climb 2 sets of steps. No curtains. It was bright in the room 24/7. I need complete darkness to sleep. No place to put stuff in bathroom like toiletries. Not very much space to put your belongings in the room. Bed was way too hard.

The bed was horrible, the remote didn't work for the TV, and the floor in the bathroom was sinking, felt like you might fall thru.

The price was about the only thing that I liked.

Shenanigans Bar and restaurant is attached to the hotel. It's a bit noisy. The building is well maintained but it is OLD. The floors are crooked. You have to jiggle the key. There's NO elevator. I LOVED IT but make sure you do your research !!!

Location!!! Directly on the Boardwalk. Not too close or too far from the Inlet. Great coffee.

Very small room and very small shower. No elevator. If all you used the room for was to shower and nap...it was great for college kids, graduation....not a middle age couple. My fault, I will read the reviews more carefully next time.

Bed was a bit old and creaky. Water temperature in the shower was horrible - it would be nice for a few seconds, then run SCORCHING hot or ice cold. When you would try to fix it back, the temperature would change again. My room only had a shower stall, but others have a tub. Not a deal breaker for me. The blinds aren’t don’t darken the room enough. The ambient light at night made it difficult to sleep.

It’s right on the boardwalk, so great location. Nice parking lot compared to other boardwalk hotels. Staff are friendly. Room was clean. Amenities were in working order.

Would love to see an ice machine on every floor!! Showers are very small!! And the 3rd floor showers go from freezing cold to scalding hot!! No matter what you do to adjust the temperature! It doesn’t remain constant.

The room we were in was alright. A little strange there was a locked door in our room that I’m assuming connects with another room. The floor was uneven. When using the shower it was either burning hot or ice cold and couldn’t get a decent water temperature. Other than that the stay was fine for only 2 nights

I like that it is right on the boardwalk and not a far walk to the activities up the boardwalk.

Prepare to hear music from the Irish pub from 8am till 12 midnight everyday

Oceanfront and right in the center of the boardwalk made it really easy to get everywhere just by walking

there is no elevator which was a nightmare- lots of noise ( inside hotel ) not referring to boardwalk noise which we expected. Shower 🚿 was also crappy as it went back and fourth between super hot and freezing cold but I guess that’s what you get for a 108 year old hotel.

My daughter got accused of writing on a wall with a marker. They told us that they saw her standing near the marker on the camera. She did not draw on the wall, and i got no apology for her being accused. My friend also got accused for taking a package, then they said she did not take it and no apology was given to her. I do not appreicate being accused of something. Especially when it comes to my kid.

Tiniest shower I’ve ever used, stairs only so had to carry luggage up two flights, but biggest concern was the floor was slanted so headboards literally angled downward and dresser drawers kept sliding open from the slant too.

Fantastic location and easy check in. Quiet at night even on the boardwalk. Great air conditioning units in each room.

We were in Room 117, and the shower (no bathtub) was very small and the water went from very hot, too very cold, without even moving the shower knob. We were only there for 2 nights, any longer, would not want that room again

That they do not have elevators to many steps to walk up. There drains in the bathroom drain way to slow. No exhaust fans in the bathroom making the moisture being trapped in the bathrooms and room

The live band downstairs shakes the floors, walls are paper thin, no elevator, dirty floors that make feet black, shower doesn't stay one temperature, either ice cold or scalding hot
