We had several small issues that we had to deal with staff, and they were trying to be very helpful, but I prefer not to have any issues to deal with.

This is a clean, comfortable hotel in a perfect location to enjoy Pismo and the central coast in general.

We got upgraded to an ocean view room, we immediately extended our stay for one more night. The view is great and the atmosphere is really nice. They have various wine bottles available at the reception and an automatic wine distributor. Parking is spacious

Breakfast very repetative. Designated parking spots would be much more effective preventing one to be stuck without parking close to hotel in case you return late at night.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The views from our suite was exceptional and we loved feeling so part of nature hearing the roar of the ocean and birdsong every day. The breakfast setup was uncomplicated and we found everything clean. We also enjoyed the spa and pool and that this hotel is not located in a busy area. We would love to visit again.

We could have stayed longer!

We were pleasantly surprised that our building had an elevator so we could take our bikes up to the third floor. The balcony view of the beach and pier was fantastic. Parking was easy and the free electric charge for our car was a nice bonus. The Shore Cliff Hotel has the largest pool in Pismo Beach, and it's very clean. The staff whom we met were so very helpful...real positive attitudes. I know we will be staying here again in the future.

Aside from the mess the birds leave, the only thing we want to emphasize is there’s no light on the hotel signage. It’s hard to find it at night.

The facility is clean and well maintained. We love that it has a sink outside of the bathroom. My kids love the heated swimming pool.

Nothing that I disliked but they have serious issue with payment software. I am still seeing charges in my card thought full payment was made through booking.com. I spoke with them before leaving and they assured that charges will be void after you checkout, but that did not happen yet. Need to followup again or will have to raise dispute with the back (worst case).

Great location to relax. This review is for Pesmo Lighthouse Suite. Room was awesome, breakfast was also good. If you are with Kids, this is one of the best place to stay and relax. Limited but useful amenities.

We liked everything about this hotel. We had a nice suit with breathtaking views from all our windows. The breakfast was good, the stuff attentive. This hotel is very close to the beach and a good restaurant. Also, there is a very short walk to the pier.

Only downfall is having to drive and find parking to get to the beach, not like being able to walk down to get to a beach. But of course it was a cliff 🤣

Older facility not great on sound insulation. Lots of guests tended to be loud from partying and loud from small children. Very "heavy footed" people running and creating loud noise from floor above and outside hall

The rooms are clean, this place is just old, I looked more like a two stars motel than a nearly $600 a night hotel. The outside smells like manure or sewage or some sort. It was strange I reserved ahead of time a oceanview room, and I was given a first floor room overlooking a garden pier peoples heads, a gazebo. Upon my insistence, as it turns out, to actual ocean view rooms were available, and I even had a choice. So when I picked an actual ocean of your room, it was perfect. All I can see was ocean with a pier and people and everything over to the right and left side, but the view to the ocean was unobstructed. Parking is a nightmare as well. Although they charge you for parking, they don’t enforce any of it, so people off the street just come and park there, so I was forced to walk a long ways to a neighboring restaurant to find a parking spot, which made me very uncomfortable because I couldn’t actually See my car. My parking spot was taken by a non-hotel resident. All in all, if you have the money to spare, it’s a good enough value, but I wouldn’t come back ever to it.

Our stay was wonderful! We stayed in an ocean view room (king bed) with our 2 small dogs. It was very clean, comfortable and the ocean view was spectacular! We loved being able to take a 7 min walk to the beach or to the Pismo Preserve. Other features we enjoyed were the hot tub and pool, breakfast buffet and hospitable staff. We’d recommend Shore Cliff to anyone who is looking for a quiet, comfortable experience full of breathtaking views and wildlife.
