How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewEverything was very clean, the room wasn’t damp at all even though there’s a huge tub right next to the bed. It seemed like every room was booked but I didn’t hear the other guests even once. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the pool and fire pit with their families all evening. The employees were on top of any issues and made sure folks remained respectful to each other.
Nothing really, the breakfast room was a little too small for how many guests were there.

Verified reviewI wish I could write something good about this place but I honestly can not find one good thing to say. I thought the value was good when I booked it but then after checking in realized that this place was way overpriced.
This place wasn't nothing short of disappointing. The ratings system used most certainly can not be relied upon. We checked in at around 4:30 to 5:00 pm, took our luggage to the room and left to go eat dinner. After arriving back around 7:30 or so, we try to settle in and turned the television on, which quit working. The lady at the front desk came up to our room and spent 45 minutes to an hour trying to get it to work. She then set it to reprogram and told me to call her back up when it was finished, so about an half hour later I had to go down to get her because the phone in the room would not work, then she spent the next hour at least trying to get it to work, but couldn't. She said Kevin would take a look at it when he came in if we were still awake! We asked if we could just leave and get a refund and was told they could not do that since we spent the time we did in the room at which point we pointed out that she had spent about as much time in the room as we had, but still to no avail. Kevin finally showed up for his shift while we were speaking to her and came up to our room to look at the tv. After about 20 more minutes he decided to switch our tv out for a smaller one which was somewhere around 11pm by this time. We asked if we stayed Friday night could we check out first thing Saturday morning and get a refund for the 2nd night and were assured by both staffers that they would do that. We got up early Saturday and checked out between 6:30 am & 7 am and were assured by Kevin that it would be taken care of and that our money should be returned for the second night within 24 hours. That was Saturday, this is Monday evening and still not there. I am still waiting for my refund and am under no delusion that I will ever see that money again.

Verified reviewThe check out time was 11 and we had someone trying to come in our room at nine so we had to rush to get out of there just because the front desk gave the people the wrong room number. This also happened when we got there they gave me the wrong room number.Front desk lady wasn't friendly at all.

Verified reviewBreakfast was bare minimum. Powdered eggs, cereal..that kind of thing. The space was crowded.
The place had roaches and when it was bought to a workers attention he basically said so??. He was also asked for washcloths and he said he would bring to the room but never did. It used to be a great place to stay but we definitely won't be back.
