Had to leave my dog in the car to check in as animals aren’t allowed in the front office building. Also, my room key didn’t work one morning, so I had to go back to the front office to get a working one - I had my dog with me at this time as well so I couldn’t go all the way inside to speak to the front desk worker, had to shout in from outside. Weird policy for a place that allows dogs in the rooms.

Starting to show it’s age, there was an animal in the wall of our unit (someone had placed food out for animals directly behind our unit), there was a sign in our room about location(forested area) and ants which tells me that pest control is not being used. I wish there were a seating area within the room.

Facilities - just a few bottles of water and a few snacks on offer would have been great. I knew breakfast wasn't served but without any shops within quick walking distance it would make sense to have something available other than the few fizzy drinks.

Great location, close to downtown and coast but still very quiet. A much better room than the usual Monterey Peninsula motels (I've stayed in a lot). Value was difficult to judge because all accommodation prices are stratospheric during Monterey Car Week – but it compared well.

Bed was a little hard, blind had a broken slat that I had to hang a washcloth over, because it was in the bathroom, and faces the parking lot. A little short on parking spots. We had to park on the street once, because everything near our room was taken.

The attention to what welcomes guests: microwave was not plugged in, toilet seat was worn, soap dispensers weren’t fully attached to the wall.

I realize this is an expensive area, but a more could have been done to make the rooms feel more welcoming.

Very convenient for a visit to Pacific Grove while steering clear of the more touristy areas. The rooms were adequate and clean but not much in the way of eye appeal. There was a small area with a fire pit, but this is mostly a convenient place to sleep and shower.

Our room was right next to where they come in and out with the big cleaning cars. Very noisy all through the day. TV didn’t work, ice machine on the property was broken. I have stayed there many times and it has been wonderful, but that was over 10 years ago.

The location is amazing. I’ve stayed here many times. It must have new owners since I’ve been there a couple years ago. (The friendly coastal energy is missing.)

Letting two cars park per room when clearly additional car should be on street to accommodate one car per room on property.

I like parking on the property. Wish there were some EV parking for overnight charging. I’m sure in time that will be offered.

There is only one place to get food in the area, with limited menu but good overall.

The Sea Breeze is equal walking distance either to the ocean to west, or to downtown Pacific Grove to the east. It's not a hotel but a motor lodge.
