Beautiful one bedroom king suite with a balcony. Room was very nice and suited our needs. View of the lake and the town.

Two minor disappointments. 1) Although the description lets you to believe that there is a balcony for each room, it was not the case as per what was written on Booking.com: Elegant Accommodations: voco Saranac Lake NY - Waterfront by IHG in Saranac Lake offers comfortable rooms with private balconies, refrigerators, and free Wi-Fi 2) We ate dinner in the restaurant and the service was v e r y slow.

Here is what we liked. 1) The hotel has a fantastic location, right on Saranac Lake and is very close to the city center. 2) The property seems new and is very clean. 3) Parking is free and only a few steps from the main entrance. 4) A tasty and complete breakfast was included in the price and dinner was delicious. 5) There is an indoor pool with warm water. 6) A lady, one of the owners, was very welcoming and friendly. 7) The room was beautiful and very original in its design. 8) The price was a good value. 9) The area feels very safe to walk around. 10) The Wi-Fi was free and excellent.

It’s expensive so if I came back to the area with my whole family I would probably stay somewhere else (like a cabin). A nice complimentary breakfast would be another plus.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub but it looked very nice. Location on the water is nice with plenty of outdoor areas to relax in. Water bottle refilling station is a plus! Room was very nice.

Quite expensive, breakfast was ok but again expensive for what it was.

Property was clean and tidy, comfortable beds. Late check out was great. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The view was amazing. I loved sitting on the grounds and watching the sunset. The bed was super comfy and the room was lovely.

Had some problems with WiFi. The cleaners gave us fresh towels and emptied the trash but didn’t give us clean cups and glasses, which was odd.

Such a pity that there was no continental breakfast, so we had to go in the village for that. Also at check-in we were offered one little chocolate, but it was two of us. Request for a second one was denied… how to start a stay with the wrong foot… 🤦‍♂️

The hotel is amazing, the room with lake view is gorgeous and the whole property modern and very well maintained. Nice pool, very nice hot tube, fitness center very good. Also the common space with fireplace was very warm and welcoming

Staff was hit or miss. Our waitress at the bar was super suit, however the workers at check in were gossiping in Spanish not realizing I spoke Spanish. They also never gave us our breakfast meal vouchers until the next day and basically had to pull up my reservation just for them to look on the computer and to see we were supposed to get them. We were also supposed to get a lunch and dinner voucher but they didn’t honor that because the restaurant was technically closed for the week so only minimal food was being served in the bar. Also, and this was a little strange…after we checked in, one of the workers from the front desk that was gossiping, walked into our room without knocking. He just let himself in and looked shocked we were in there and stumbled over his words t trying to come up with a reason why he just walked into our room. After that happened we made a point of blocking the door and using the door jam to make sure it couldn’t happen again. We hadn’t had a chance to put the door jam in place before he had walked in on us still in the main hallway, hadn’t even put our bags down.

I was checking out at 8:30 am, and nobody was at the reception. Waited for 15 minutes ( as we had a charge to the room from the restaurant and I wanted to pay it with a different card ( that isn’t on file)… had to put the room cards in the box and leave … it would be nice if you had a bell …

Great location with view of lake (and ice castle!). Comfortable, spacious room. Pool and hot tub were a huge hit. Restaurant on site has good options and plenty of seating.
