We were a family of four and whilst our room provided everything we needed, it was quite cosy! Grateful for the option of other spaces to hang out when we wanted to let the teenagers have a lie in.

Loved the vibe of this friendly hotel. Lots of lovely spaces to chill out around the hotel, complimentary drinks and library to add that extra touch. Decor was Californian cool and the art exhibited was really inspiring and added to the Santa Barbara experience. Staff were super helpful and welcoming.

Great location, within walking distance of the beach/pier. Staff very friendly and helpful. Celebrating dad’s 80th birthday and left us a balloon and chocolates in the room. Room clean and well appointed with lovely seated area outside. Great coffee machine available at reception along with water machine. We travelled by train and it was about 3 minutes walk away.

These are minor things which didn't stop me loving. The place but... No cushions on the furniture on patio 122 (next door got cushions !) Bathroom 'wet room' style means floor wet for other users in a family ... Didn't realise $38 to valet parking - thought parking was free from Booking.com site ... Wasn't sure what the breakfast / snack situation was. Went to a cafe instead. Would have liked info on free bikes to hire ahead

Chill vibes, location, staff, cleanliness, decor - gorgeous Loved the patio / rosemary pots and palm trees - stunning and great to have this extra space as a family travelling together. Wanted to stay longer but no room available ! Next time.... near so many amenities .... The room we had was quite small but we just stayed for a night so it didn't bother us too much. It had a little outside space but it was a blind patio so not very pleasant to hang out there especially when the sea is 50 meters away.

The hotel is in a great location right next to the pier and downtown Santa Barbara. Rooms and the hotel in general was very clean. The hotel offers free parking.

Inconsistent check in personnel. First check in lady told me to contact third party to confirm my reservation. Even the room is paid and have confirmation from hotel. She was chatting and more than helpful to other customers. After an hour I asked a more experienced lady who then resolved the booking smoothly. This lady handle who also check me in the previous week. Better training perhaps?

The only drawback is the bathroom! The toilet was high which made using it uncomfortable. The shower was also very close to the toilet so it was very cramped in the bathroom, needless to say.

The location is amazing! It's close to an amazing Mexican restaurant downstairs, which made for a wonderful meal after check-in. We were also able to walk to several wine tasting and entertaining places, and super close to the beach. I loved the flavored water in the lobby; that was such a classy touch.

Noise level. Trash collection really early in the morning, deliveries and trucks backing up also very early, street noise well into the night, close to train tracks.

Location was fantastic. Close to beach, shopping, restaurants. Rooms are small but modern, clean and comfortable. Popular restaurant in the building that also provides room service. Friendly staff.

Great hotel and fantastic staff, very talkative and friendly. Rooms are pefectly sized and clean. Epic location and cheaper than other hotels. Would come back.
