Coffee wasn't so great. Pillows weren't comfortable and it would have been nice to have been notified about youth conference and getting to the hotel.

The AC in the room is very noisy but can be switched off.

This is the perfect costs efficient location if you are visiting the Salt Palace convention center. It is just around the block. The room has a desk to work, a microwave and a fridge. That's perfect for business travels. The hotel is slightly aged but functional. The breakfast offer is motel style.

They need to add washers and dryers in the laundry room. Add a tv and a locking door to the bathroom in the laundry. It needs work and fresh paint and a folding table.

Beds were comfortable and staff was helpful. Parking was easy.

There was creases in our bed that looks like the bed cover wasn’t changed. I called the receptionist, she asked me to go down as there was no staff or housekeeping to pick up a bed sheet.

I love the location and the view. Lisa the staff was friendly and welcoming.

I don't love the full wall mirror in the bathroom, it's not great watching yourself go to the bathroom. Need a towel hook outside the hot tub/shower, I left the towel on the edge while showering and didn't realize that the whole inside ledge would flood from the shower and everything was soaked.

The room was nice, away from the hallway so we didn't hear other guest coming and going. It's walking distance to many attractions, Abravenal Hall, temple square, City Creek Mall, event centers.

Parking expensive and getting a bit rundown

They charge $10 per night for parking. They gave us a parking pass that we were to scan each time we entered or left the hotel. The pass didn't work one time, so there was a number to call to get help, and they remotely lifted the gate so we could exit.. Then this morning we left at 10:50 to go home. Our parking pass didn't work again, so we called the number again to get help. The woman very rudely said that we weren't in the system and we would have to come back into the hotel to check in and then check out.. i said we never checked out, and we had until 11 A.M. to still be in the system. My husband said there was a car behind us and we couldn't come back into the hotel.. Shw kept insisting we had to come back in. Fortunately, the man in the car behind us came over and opened the gate with his pass, and we left. We won't ever go to this hotel again.

Bathtub needs re caulk. I would say get rid of single use bottles. And, a manager should be on weekend duty.

Extremely good evening staff. I had mix up with booking service. We got it sorted, and I had a good rest.

The staff were bordering on rude. Upon checking in, when I asked re breakfast, it was as if my question was a huge inconvenience to the lady at the front desk. Manners cost nothing and I was v disappointed to have had a rude interaction when checking in as soon as we arrived.

The room was fab and v spacious with lovely toiletries and a great fridge size! Excellent location also and parking was super valuable to us.

I was placed next to a stairwell, and in a room with children being loud at 11pm at night above me. I also did not feel safe in my room as a woman traveling alone , being next to a stairwell. The cleanliness was not to my standard, which is disappointing since I have stayed here a few times and it has exceeded my expectations.

I always choose this hotel to stay at when I come done to SLC. The staff is spectacular , and the location is amazing!

Shower ran out of water and had to keep turning off and on (Sunday morning, July 6th, 2025). When I turned water back on, only cold water was available at a trickle.

Very comfortable mattress.
