How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Expensive pay to park at the hotel, ice machines only on higher floors. No ice buckets or ice bucket liners in the room. Pool was too warm, had debris and not enough shade umbrellas and one was broken. No hot items for breakfast.
Location is close to attractions. Clean, comfortable rooms and central areas. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast provided. 24 hour coffee and tea. Convenient hygiene items, shampoo, soaps and lotion provided.

The breakfast was terrible. There were no hot food available.
The best thing about the property is its location. It does offer parking but it’s not free. You need to amend your website to reflect the current price of $25.00 a night for parking

Parking is not free. During my second night, the people above us were very loud until 3am, I didn’t really sleep. It was extremely disappointing.

Our bathroom was sort of old. The bath gel in the shower was empty. Toilet kept running. Elevator kept getting stuck and trapping people inside. The front desk would reboot it but those 5-7 min you are waiting are terrifying!!!
The hotel was pretty clean. You can walk everywhere which is perfect! Decent breakfast.

No cups in rooms, no coffee, bagel bar!! Not everyone likes bagels! Could have had some fruit, bananas, apple etc.

The fact that I was charged 20$ more than the price that I originally made the reservation for the room here in booking. And also the parking is 22$, Not 15$. So I feel like it wasn’t completely honest. Since I never had that experience with the booking system before. I always get charged what booking.com says in any other hotel. But is a good hotel after all.
Is clean, the renovation is well done. It is a comfortable bed. The location is great.

No mat and no shower curtain for the shower. When I called I had to pick it up due to no staff.
It was sparse, bagels and cream cheese, yogurt. Times have changed.

The room held a funny odor but not too bad. I am a little sensitive to it. The AC worked well. Our room was never made up and we stayed 3 nights. Got clean towels from front desk and were told the 2nd day that our room was scheduled (?) to be made up, but never happened. My only complaint. They did compensate me by not charging $22 per day for parking.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Was in a nice area with a few shops and eateries. We were only 3-4 blocks from Francis Field so we could walk and not have to deal with the traffic or parking.

Rooms were in disrepair, had to call maintenance twice. Moved rooms once. Beds were hard. Bathrooms were not cleaned well.

People were getting confused by the elevator because the floor number display was broken.

They did a $150 damage hold during stay and released at checkout. Without ever checking room? Why the hold in the first place? It really messed up our finances.

The front desk lady wasn't very friendly. She didn't seem to like her job when I called about early check in nor when I met her in person. Also, the room had been recently renovated so the doors stuck from the paint. Parking was $22 a day which I thought was outrageous. It should be included in the stay.
The walking distance to main attractions was our reason for booking this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, too.

The pool is so small and looks old.
Nobody wants just bagels for breakfast. You could do it better add some eggs and sausages.
