Large rooms, kind staff, and that it looks mmcvç

The first night the staff gave us a room with no air conditioning. And then after the second night, the next morning they rushed us out after we finally got a room with an air conditioner.

The second room they gave us with the working air conditioner was nice. Big room and clean and was quiet.

The staff was rude and not attentive. There was a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot late. Cars coming in and out all hours of the night. Quite a bit of noise

Some of the residents at the hotel made me feel uneasy. There was a family with a little boy who were relatively nice, but I worried for their child's safety. There was an old man on a mobility scooter staring at the child, who had been left alone, and I had to intervene and find his parents.

There were no USB charging outlets, no chair at desk/table area.

Room needed cosmetic repairs. Old cigarette markings on the bathroom sink. Towel rack was pulled loose from the wall. Stale smoke smell in the room. Room was cheaper than Motel 6. But really I thought the price was appropriate and Motel 6 was too expensive.

Convenient to freeway and services, food.

For being a hotel that has posted signs on the property that clearly says no smoking, there were multiple cigarettes up and down the stairway/walkway to the room as well as trash just laying on the floor. Once we got into our room the first smell that greeted you was the smell of cigarettes like someone had previously stayed in the room and smoked all day inside. I had already had a migraine and this smell in the room just made for an unpleasant time that we didn't want to go back to the room and tried to find things to do all day because it was annoying not being able to breath clean air when trying to relax or sleep.

The room was a good size and I liked that we were on the corner of the building. The parking lot was big for multiple cars, and the bed was pretty comfy. Check in was pretty easy as well.

the hotel charges $100 deposit per room that's not on booking.com so it's a surprise when you get to the hotel and they add another $100 to your bill.

Room wasn’t clean right, there was garbage under the bed. There was roaches. The non smoking rooms smelled heavily of cigarettes.

The room was clean, however it was roach infested. They were on the floor, the wall,the table, in the shower and on the bathroom sink. Not to mention a dog barking all night long. Was told manager would call us. No call

Just experienced some minor irritants, such as remote for tv was missing (I was able to call the front desk and receive a remote, but the first two I was provided didn't work either. Finally the manager came to room and found a remote in their surplus that worked with our tv in the room--all was well after that). Another couple irritants were toilet flushing mechanism was faulty. Flush mechanism was the push button type from the top of the toilet cover. But, since push button seem to get stuck, the toilet only half flushed. So removing the top toilet cover and leaving it off, we found just pushing the flush button manually ensured our toilet flushed properly every time. And last irritant in our room had one of the kitchen cabinet doors, under the kitchen sink, not secured properly. One of the hinges came off of it's bracket, so door would not swing open properly, but almost fall off. Stayed on only by the other hinge that was holding cabinet door in place. These last two irritants were reported to front desk staff for correction, upon our checkout, so maintenance could correct, before next occupant gets checked into that room.

Just the basics as far as complimentary breakfast is concerned - Coffee, breakfast bars and packaged muffins. No hot breakfast like other hotel chains offer, but rooms come with full kitchen, so maybe the idea is, if staying here, you could cook your own breakfast.
