Carlton the manager, Max at the front desk, the bartenders and the head chef who bakes one of the tastiest croissants as part of their continental breakfast. Staff is the best part of the hotel. It’s also great to have a lively bar scene at the hotel but it’s not loud or disruptive for sleeping since it’s away from the rooms.

With the vast amount of space at the property I’d say a pool would make sense and elevate the experience. The manager mentioned they are looking at adding a pool maybe for next season. I’d come back if they did add one.

It was convenient to everything. The property itself was adorable

Communication was very poor- left several messages and emails before arriving to try to plan a few things on property, etc. nobody ever answered. For $1000 a night that’s unacceptable. Also the rooms have the very bare minimum and there were some ants on the ceiling.

What breakfast???!!! No beach. No staff - but an efficient cleaning crew.

NO WARNING (!!!) on your reservation site that there would be NO humans involved in signing in and finding my room. NO breakfast offered. No WIFI offered. OVERPRICED given the absence of staff, no breakfast, no beach. You need to drop the price by $100 to make this place an attractive offer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT THIS PRICE POINT.

Location. Bar/restaurant was cute and fun.

The hospitality. There was a GIGANTIC and terrifying snake slithering around the room, and living under an actively used bed. Called someone for help, they sent a maintenance man that thought it was a bug (clearly uninformed by staff, brought a broom and dustpan), then called another person in to help, 10 girls had to watch as the snake was brutally murdered. Definitely killed the Bachelorette Party vibe. Half went to sleep shortly after, some sad or scared, some disgusted. Was a pretty awful way to end the trip. Tried to complain a few days later (our group feeling was we are extremely upset and terrified and traumatized but we won’t let this ruin the end of the trip, and also there are ZERO staff members in person other than these 2 men that helped us - and we would never express our anger toward them, they were our saviors, and also not in charge of the handling of this predicament) and got victim blamed for waiting days - “you guys took days, it must have been okay”. “We could have maybe done something at check out” And by “days” they meant we checked out Sunday and started calling Tuesday, because we were traveling home around the country Monday, and by check out they simply mean we left because, again, there were zero employees on site. Got them on the phone once, they did not return as discussed. Called multiple times more, nothing. Only after emails with pictures and videos with the situation addressed, did the above phone conversation with victim blaming occur. We were ultimately refunded a nominal amount ($1500, randomly upped from initial quote of around $1485, despite 2 nights costing nearly $3500), with the management stating that they initially only wanted to give an arbitrary $500, and heavily implying that they were doing US a huge favor by giving us this amount back for the above horror that ensued. We were an extremely fair group and just wanted accountability and hospitality, and what we got was unacceptable conditions and victim blaming.
