This is my second time staying at Rowe's Cabins. It is so clean, it literally is spotless. The kitchen is supplied with the basics and the extra touches make for a very comfortable stay.

Only issue is that the bed was kind of "squishy".

I absolutely loved the unique screen doors and how easy it was to locate. Even though we had the smallest cabin, it was perfect for my husband and I. We had a TV and internet. Microwave and mini fridge. Would definitely stay again!

Nothing everything was great

This is a great place in a great area the owner is very sweet and accommodating. Very pet friendly was great with my service dog best price in town. The only place we will ever stay in schroon lake. Kitchen a little tight but I'm a chef i cook in smaller spots. Very comfortable cabin with back up GENERATETORS .

I LOVED my stay here. The cabin was spotless and cute! I was there for 2 nights in the dead of winter and the cabin was warm and cozy! I can't wait to come back this summer!

Our cabin was very clean. The shower was excellent and the water gets nice and hot. We were there for a few very cold winter nights and the cabin stayed comfortably warm. Our host Randy was friendly and helpful. Location is less than five minutes from the Schroon Lake business district and 30 minutes from the high peaks.

Kitchen was tight but being a chef I'm use to cooking in small areas.

Everything prime location they were great with my service dog man at the desk was very friendly price is right . Hopefully the price stays good and doesn't get jacked up. I will definitely be back in love this place best place to stay in schroon lake.

The main issue for me was the strong smell of fabric softener on the sheets. I have a fragrance allergy and avoid scents in all my products. The fabric softener smell was so strong I woke up with a sore throat and headache all the next day. If you have allergies to scents I would not recommend this place. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like it was an old spring mattress from the 70s and really sagged when I was on it which put my body and neck with the stiff pillow at a very uncomfortable angle so I used my puffy jacket as a pillow to help with the torqued neck and to get the fabric softener away from my face. Also there is no bedside table or place for a charger by the bed both of which I think are pretty critical. Since space is limited I think this could be solved by building a little surface near the bed that folds down or up as needed. They were also doing some work on the place before the busy season and I had to walk over a big patch of dirt they were reseeding with grass to reach the cabin which was not a big deal but not what you're looking for with such high prices.

I like the old school motel feel of the lobby with the animal taxidermy and spray insulation ceiling--very Adirondack feel. The person who checked me in was quick and covered the basics. The cabins don't have shared walls which is nice. Basic amenities are in the little cabins and are very cute.
