Really no wifi to speak of. Had a router and pw, but unable to load anything. I think if the wifi worked in the rooms this place could be perfect.

We absolutely loved getting to meet the owners and chat for a bit with them about their love for this property. They care and it shows - in everything! Comfy beds. Coffee, tea, cold bottles of water, snacks, actual dishes to use in the kitchenette. Charming decorations and little Easter eggs of days gone by stashed in the room. Old books. Board games. Card games. This sweet little historic motor court is so lovingly renovated and up to date while being cozy and nostalgic at the same time. We can’t wait to stay again.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like — everything was perfect!

We absolutely loved everything about the Rockwood Motor Court! Phyllis was an exceptional host — incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of helpful tips. She took the time to share the fascinating history of the motel with us and even recommended and called ahead to other Route 66 motels for the rest of our trip. The rooms and the entire court were beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail and charm. Our whole family felt completely at home. The family suite was especially cozy and sweetly furnished — we truly appreciated the warmth and care in every corner.

Cant really say anything bad about Rockwood. It was. A quick overnight stay so didnt get to use many ammenities. But thats on us not them in anyway.

This is an amazing little place to stay! Small private chalets. Nostalgic decor. Owners were great. Will definently go back.

I had trouble getting any stations on TV and the wi-fi was not the greatest.

It’s very clean, quiet, and the owners are super nice. It’s got lots of character and history. Will stay here again.

We found Phyllis and Tim extremely helpful, they were warm and inviting, the room was amazing, set out in route 66 memorabilia, lots of information given, the bed was comfortable, the tea and coffee was lovely in the room, as well as the snacks provided and water as well didn’t expect them, was lovely, would stay again, thank you

This was a place we could have spent more nights. Wish it was an area to where we wanted to stay a few days in the city. But we were traveling Route 66, so only staying one night in each place for 8 days.

Loved everything, from the ease of getting to the location, check in process and owners. The rooms are amazing and home like feel. It was also great to have a room with no neighbors below or close enough for my kids to disturb.

Everything! This place is perfect in every way. Some may not like the size of the rooms and others may think it is dated. It is a perfectly restored part of history and I simply love it! It is clean, comfortable, quiet and close to anything I need. Tim and Phyllis are exceptional and make you feel like family. We miss them already!

Everything was well thought out. Lots of love in the place. Owners live on site and keep it up very well. Lots of special touches. Nostalgic, so don’t go in thinking you’re getting a ton of modern accommodations. A true step back in time. The way it used to be. We enjoyed it!
