No free breakfast. Annoying music thumping somewhere kept me awake.

Love the river location. Rooms are large. Restaurant is great! And $2 oysters for happy hour! And pet friendly.

The heat did not work very well in the adjoining room with the bunk beds. It stayed pretty chilly.

The room was amazing. Enough room for 3 adults and a 3 year old. The adjoining room had its own couch and TV. So everyone was able to enjoy and relax in thier own space. Room service was fast and the food great!

The common parts were slightly gloomy. Though the area feels safe, there's not a lot going on in the immediate area, so needed to walk quite and use public transport and taxis to explore Portland.

Pleasant location on waterfront. Clever interior design within the room, and enjoyed having a separate living area. Our son's room was very spacious with a fireplace.

The best place to stay in Portland!

The coffee in the room was awful, forcing me to go to the lobby in my pajamas to get mediocre coffee! The coffee teabags were provided in the room and it was barely drinkable. I get up very early and like to read the paper and have coffee before my day begins. I've been at other hotels who've replaced the electric teapot with a Keurig pot, which makes a much better cup of coffee and also can make hot water for tea. Anything would be better than what they have!

the location along the river and next to a park, and on a cul-de-sac made a quiet, serene setting! The River has a bike/walking path so morning strolls were blissful. This will be my go-to place whenever I am in Portland. I cannot imagine any place in town that shows off the best of Portland!

We last stayed about 8 years ago and the property was just newer . The interior is starting to look pretty dilapidated, the main reception area has chairs with old upholstery , the valet station looks rickety , and the staff were nowhere to be found if not walking around watching videos in the back. very young staff , maybe it’s just difficult finding seasoned employees .the bathrooms could use some updating, the tubs are yellowing and a little gross , I didn’t use the makeup towel since it looked pretty dirty . Could use some some freshening up.

I love how dog friendly it is, however no bowls for our pup ! And the fresh coffee in the morning was delicious . Also love the atelier products Kimpton uses .

We ordered in room service for breakfast… just tea, coffee and toast. The tea was really week, so was the coffee and the toast was soggy and cold. However, we did talk about this with the front desk… they apologised and reimbursed us.

The beds were super comfortable, the pillows were perfect, the location was very easy. Also the staff were really friendly and helpful

noticed a strong urine smell in our room. I'm not opposed to pet friendly places. I have asthma and have severe allergies so my sinuses and asthma were aggravated They should just designate specific rooms and not co mingle so people don't have issues

The staff and hotel were appreciated. The dining was great for drinks and a nice bite to eat.

When I booked it said view, which I thought meant a view of the water. When I arrived, I did not have a view of the water, but was told I could upgrade for an additional cost. Front desk did not give any information on where things were, how to get to room or use the key card. Would have liked to have known where things were and how to get to them. Not even sure if or where the ice machine was.

Being able to travel with my two dogs, ordering them room service for breakfast and walking around the property. Nice to be able to walk to the water a cand see the boats. Plenty of room, we didn't feel cramped.

It’s old and needs renovation for hallway, lobby. In the room needs well maintained of lamps, restroom door, plugs for electrical devices. Also the wi-fi internet was down during my stay,

All staff were nice and kind. Location is great and it has a nice river view from the room.

Our room was huge, but the mixture of the furniture with different wood colors and styles, the curtain and carpet was absolutely weird. Nothing matched. A huge round table was pushed in the corner blocking the mirror on the wall. We had #403 for 1 night and we didn’t like it. The bar at the hotel closed at 9:45pm sharp! When we asked for a drink at 9:47pm, us was told they are closed.

Location close to the river. Walkable to restaurants. Comfy bed, room with River view. Attentive staff.
