The bed was too hard and too soft maybe it's time for new mattresses. I attempted to wash laundry in the self service laundry both washers broke down. I spent 3 hours washing two loads of laundry and only had time to dry one load. The other just had to get hung up to dry because I was late for a reservation. I waited on the house maintenance person for 22 minutes the first time. He was very helpful but two breakdowns in one day.

The rooms where big and spacious. The staff were all very nice. Cleanliness was on point. The Housekeeping and Front Desk staff were very friendly. I really am happy to say the breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff was pleasent bright and busy.

The breakfast room was mmm,mmm with out invitation to have breakfast. No music, total silent, alone with out the habitat of any other Marriot breakfast buffet … like do not invite to stay there. Also needs more food variety as the other Hotels (family/Marriot) or as the competition.

Some food we could eat!

Breakfast very poor. We mentioned to Booking.com and the hotel we needed GF food - I am Ceoliac and react to Wheat. This was on the booking form. Stayed 13 nights and could eat very little from the breakfast buffet. No GF bread, oatmeal, pastries, waffles, etc all not GF. Asked them to buy GF bread - the manager said not possible. We walked across the roas to the HEB store - 5 min walk - and had to buy our own bread. There was very dry scrambled egg every day - no bacon, sausages and patties were not GF. So disappointing.

The kitchenette area was not tidy, especially by the fridge. There were remnants of food and a dead insect. Being too exhausted to switch rooms we tried to rest but couldn't. The room's temperature was not regulated. While others froze on one side I was burning up on the other. The AC was also too loud, far beyond the regular humming noise at other properties. The elevator also seemed a bit rickety.

The manager was really nice and understanding and did what he could to rectify my stay. I sincerely appreciated it.

Very disappointed sadly. We had two rooms. One of them the toilet was broken. The other room there was an “out of order” sign on the sleeper sofa on the INSIDE of the cushions and it was late before we realized it was broken. I personally would’ve liked to have a partial refund, we had a group of 8 and those things made our stay not as comfortable.

Wish the call center is not an incoming call center only since a direct number to the hotel is not available anywhere. Or at least allow to make a warm transfer to the hotel If posting the number online is not an option.

Staff is very friendly. Our flight got delayed so much and the front reception was super nice during our check in. We were so worried that online said we can only check in until 12am so my sister rushed to the hotel to make sure our reservation won’t get cancelled. Thankfully it didn’t.
