Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesPerfect location for our needs, but probably not a good place to stay if your business is in downtown Philadelphia
Exceedingly spacious rooms with a real kitchen, comfortable living area, including couch and a great bed. Plenty of space and light. Expansive common areas, nice breakfast. Outdoor seating adjacent the river. Appreciated that coffee was available 24/7. Nicely done esthetic integration with former steel plant. Kudos to the Architect.

United StatesThe only thing negative i could say is the way their curtains are in the room there is light that comes out the very top that you really can't control so if you like a dark room wear an eye mask if you want to sleep in
The location was perfect in correlation with what we were there for. It was only an 11 minute walk away! The hotel and room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast they serve was one of the best I've had at a hotel and the staff at the breakfast was very helpful. There was a lady where you first entered the breakfast that was there to answer any questions like how to make a waffle and there was always staff cleaning up the tables so other guest could sit. I would definitely stay here again

United StatesLove that it’s a dog-friendly hotel, but (for all hotels) like smoking and non-smoking rooms, for allergy sufferers, there should be dog rooms and non-dog rooms. Nothing at all property-specific, but an observation.
Everything! Clean, spacious, yet cozy and inviting. Public spaces were amazing! Our suite was perfection, well thought out, every single thing considered. High end finishes, spotlessly clean. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful, ESPECIALLY Tatyana and Helen!!! The location was like NO OTHER! So cool!

United StatesMan over the phone (I think his name was Naseed) informed me earlier in the day that I needed to arrive by 6pm so I would be guaranteed a room. My card had declined that morning due to my bank considering it fraudulent activity (especially since I'm out of state). Me stressing to get there by that time, we hit bad traffic, so I called at 5pm to let him know about the traffic and to possibly use a different credit card. A woman answered..stated he was gone for the day..but assured me a room so that I would less stressed. Upon arrival, she was relaxed, very sweet and accommodating. She evidently worked overnight, because I also checked out with her as well. She's a great staff member!

The front desk was very welcoming and friendly. They told us that had two rooms available when we checked in and what floor would we prefer - we have traveled a lot and no one has ever asked us that before. The room was wonderful.

United StatesSince my business was right in Philadelphia, this was a little far afield even at just 5 miles away. On the other hand, I was in downtown in half an hour and didn't have to pay extra for parking, which is at a premium in Philadelphia. Otherwise, no intrinsic problems with the hotel.
Nice to see rooms designed for people: windows open to get air; actually fan current in bathroom. Layout of room was very usable. All other aspects are what your would expect for a hotel in this price range. The architecture and setting were quite phenomenal.

United StatesI was very displeased by how it is was impossible to raise the temperature inside the room above 78 degrees farhenheit. When we arrived, the temperature had been set at 56: that is insane as the summer outside is lovely and I love to be warm. We stayed 3 nights and requested no room service so as to not disturb our "heat" setting, but the temperature really never lifted above 78 degrees in spite of my 84 degree setting. I was cold at night and no blanket were provided in the room. Meanwhile, the vents that conduct both AC air and heating air are very noisy (that would account for why I cannot complain about any neighbor's noise: the heating made so much noise it would have been difficult to hear anything else!) On the second day, we also noticed strange beige flakes gathering on the black TV stand and some on our bed stands as well. Where did these particles came from? It had to be the heat vent. Every morning we cleared the flakes, but they came back by the evening- as the vents kept roaring. I am never coming back to this poorly designed hotel. It is nice to rehabilitate an old building in an interesting location, but the architecture is not stunning, and the decor is all plastic, fake wood and cheap fake tiles. The heating ducts are noisy, and we might have been breathing all night bad chemicals in the form of bizarre flakes oozing out of the ducts. Also, the water quality from the taps was VERY subpar- smelly and chlorinated to the hilt. I liked to drink water from municipal sources: this was the wrong place to do that, unfortunately.
Location near a river. And the presence of a top notch restaurant nearby.
