Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe only thing wrong was wrong was that our reservation was not in place and customer service at booking.com is beyond horrible. Their number is pretty much hidden. Then you wait on hold for long periods of time for someone who only has standard responses in their vocabulary. I lost my 10% bonus as a result if them botching things and because it was outside of the language box, I could not even get it addressed. The hotel, however stepped up to the plate and took care of us when boking.com would not. Just in case the customer service number is: 888 850 3958. Good luck if you ever need it
Everything about the hotel, once we got past booking.com's horroble customer service was top notch. I gave them all 10's and have never donebthat before. Not one thing was even a tiny bit bad and clean exceeded my picky standards. Staff was great and ammenities well planned and placed. The coffee in room and at the breakfast bar was truly good coffee. I seldom drink coffee at a hotel. We had to leave by 6 30 so did not try their breakfast but based on every other detail, i am sure it was excellent.

United StatesThe manager shouldn’t have told me to go eat lunch and come back and he would have me a room which he did not. He had no idea when he would have a one ready so I told him to cancel my trip.
I did not stay there. They kept telling me they were gonna have a room ready, but housekeeping wasn’t ready. I waited for over two hours and left.

United StatesI messaged the property directly through the booking.com prompts well before the dates of the reservation. I never received any response from the property. I had a very close family member have emergency surgery to remove a major organ, and I had to reschedule the trip. On the booking, it states that the amount for the room would be forfeited in the instance of a no-show or a cancelation but states nothing in the instance of rescheduling. I requested to change the dates of the reservation and again heard nothing. I then called the property to be told I would have to make a whole new reservation and that the money would be forfeited and i would have to work with booking.com. I then canceled the reservation and requested for the total amount paid to be waived and applied to my future booking and... shocker... didn't hear anything. The least they could have done was respond to one of the 8 messages i sent and helped a customer with their stay. I'm not wanting anything out of this, just want issues like this to be handled better.
